It's Been a While

Ok, so I've been here since 2009.

That's only kind of true. I came in 2009. Left for 4 years. Came back in December 2017.

I went through the training back in 2009. I think I accomplished all of it? I think. It's been some time, and my memory isn't the greatest.

I had a website. Or 2. Or 4. I had some stuff going. But it just never "felt" right. I could never fully commit to what I was doing.

That's why I ended up leaving.

But.

I feel like I was born to be an affiliate marketer.

I always come back to it. That's why I'm here again!

I Have a Wix Website

Before I came back to Wealthy Affiliate, I started a new website, just for the heck of it. (And because I always come back to making websites and affiliate marketing. Always.)

I started it on Wix because I thought it would be easy to use and put together. To be honest, it is easy to use! I'm actually pretty pleased with it.

I know some people say that Wix sites don't rank, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I have quite a few posts in the top 10, and a few of those in the #1 spot in Google.

I think it's fun to have an open mind and to experience new things, so to me, Wix was a fun new experience and I'm glad I had a chance to work with it.

There are some downsides to it. I have to pay extra for search and comments. On the plus side, they have lots and lots of beautiful free photos that you can access with just a click of a button.

And Now I Also Have a Wordpress Site

Because I want my Wix site to stay focused on a certain topic (plant-based health) and because I also love, love, love writing about law of attraction, creating your own reality, etc, I decided to start a new site.

This time I did it through Welathy Affiliate's SitRubix.

I have to say, I'm amazed at how easy it was to set up a website. It literally did take less than 30 seconds.

And I'm amazed how easy it is to log into my site from Wealthy Affiliate.

(You see, back in the day, I had Wordpress websites hosted on Host Gator, not through WA.)

I'm really amazed by SiteContent because it really pushes you to create high quality content. What a fantastic tool!

Wealthy Affiliate Training - Part II

While I've already been through the WA training, it was so long ago that I don't really remember any of it. So, with my brand spanking new website, I'm going through the training again.

I'm writing this post because it's part of the training. :)

I really want to do it right, and do a great job with the training because I can then talk to others and give them my honest thoughts and ideas about it.

What I've learned since all those years ago when I was first here is that making money shouldn't be your first goal. Your first goal should be to help people.

I can best help people if I have a great understanding of how everything works.

Sometimes helping people means sending them on a different path that won't make you money. Remeber this. That's OK. Because what you do when that happens is build a reputation of trust.

Remember...

Always. Be. In. Service. To. Others.

I truly believe in this now.

I don't think I did back in 2009. I was chasing money then. I know money will come when I can truly help others succeed.

THAT is what Kyle and Carson do. THAT is the path to true success.

I Wish You Lots of Success

I believe we all have the ability to be successful and rich. And, in fact, I think it's our duty to be rich so that we can be even MORE service to others.

The only thing that stands in our way is ourselves.

So, get out of your own way (and I'll get out of mine), and let's do this. We are here for a reason. Some of us keep coming back to it for a reason. It's in our genetic makeup, in our souls, in the cores of who we are to be here. And to be successful at this.

So why not just let it happen?
