Are Your Goals BIG Enough?
I've used this quote on another blog post, but I'm going to use it again because I think this is really important.
Are your goals actually big enough? Are they worthy enough for you?
I've been listening to a lot of Bob Proctor lately. (I have to remember to listen DAILY because his ideas are life changing.)
I've also started studying The Science of Getting Rich again. ( <-- Not an affiliate link. You can read the book for free there.)
I just want to get some ideas across to you because I see a lot of people here (including me sometimes!) with the wrong mindset.
I truly believe that if your mindset is off, you will not succeed.
What Do You REALLY Want?
Have you built a picture in your mind of what you really want? Why are you here at Wealthy Affiliate?
If you are saying "I want to make more money.", that's good, but it's not good enough.
How much do you want to make? What are you going to do with the money? Do you believe you can actually have it?
Visualize what you want. DECIDE that you will have it.
Here's another quote I love from Bob Proctor.
But it isn't just about the money. To me, I want to earn money so that I can experience life to its fullest.
How can you grow and expand yourself unless you have money to have experiences to help you expand and grow?
From Chapter 1 in The Science of Getting Rich
"A man develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things; therefore, the basis of all advancement for man must be the science of getting rich.
The object of all life is development; and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining.
Man's right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich."
In other words, Wallace Wattles is saying that it's our right to get rich so that we can have use of things that are developed by others. It helps them, it helps us and it helps others when we can make the best of ourselves.
How Wealthy Affiliate Helps Us Get Rich
Here's how I see it. We pay for Wealthy Affiliate. And after reading that paragraph above, I appreciate the fact that Wealthy Affiliate exists and I get to use it to help me expand and grow.
On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate can help us get rich by giving us the tools and training that we need to create an income (or, even better, multiple streams of income) so that we can grow and expand even more.
That allows us to develop our talents to share with the world. And it allows us to experience all that we want to experience with our ONE life.
You Get Rich By Doing Things a Certain Way
This is a main point in The Science of Getting Rich and it's one I've been integrating into my own site.
This quote is about the certain thoughts that you think.
And to me, it's also about following in the path of others who have gone before you.
Kyle and Carson have gone before us. They have created this incredible platform to help us succeed. If you do things in a certain way, (follow the training) you will succeed too.
It's that simple.
(It's not always easy, but it is simple.)
You Get What You Think About
I believe in the power of thought so much and you can look around you and see that you're getting exactly what you're getting because of the thoughts you're thinking.
What are your results showing you?
if your bank account is low it's because you're thinking about your bank account being low. If you have a lot of debt it's because you're thinking about having a lot of debt.
Instead, what if you start thinking about being prosperous?
What helps me is reading alllll of the success stories we have available to us here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Are those people any different than you or I?
Nope!
The only thing different is that they had a big goal, DECIDED to get it and didn't stop until they did.
Once you decide, you'll be shown the perfect path to get there.
Want Proof?
I know some people don't believe in this kind of woo woo thinking. But there's proof all around you.
Everything HAS to start as a thought first. How do you think Steve Jobs created the iPhone? It was a thought first.
What about a pen? A notebook? A chair? A lamp? A microwave?
Look all around you.
See what THOUGHTS have created.
You have the same power. Think about that. Think about how AMAZING and HUGE that is.
Why not use that power? Think big thoughts and create a big, fun, experience-filled life? We have anything we need to get started with that right here at Wealthy Affiliate!
Isn't that exciting?
Now, what's YOUR big goal? Is it big enough? Setting small goals makes reaching them BORING! Make BIG goals so that they're fun and EXCITING to go after them! Why not? :)
That's it for deep thoughts from Christina. lol I'd love to hear what kind of goals you have. Why are you here?
Thanks for reading!

Great philosophical motivation! Nicely done, Christina! Marc
Of course I'm not so much here on WA to get motivation but to accomplish my goals but you've made me think my goal might be too small. Marc
If you think your goal might be too small, it probably is. :)
