When Helping Others Results in Helping Yourself!

Today is my church day but to be truthful I have not been to church in a few months.....it has been too long but I do not seem to be able to find the drive to go these days.

Yesterday I came up with this idea to have visitors subscribe to my website so I left a question to find out what plugin I need to install in order that visitors would subscribe.

I got a few responses and at the end of it I decided that maybe that was not such a good idea so I would throw it out and move on to something else. I actually forgot about the entire thing until I left a comment on a member's website this morning.

He had a "follow" button on his website and then I realized that was exactly what I wanted. I did some research and found out that I already had the plugin to do it, I only had not activated the section that asked persons to follow my website!

It was funny in one sense, I felt foolish in another sense than it brought back to me a common thought among teachers that we do not like to read! When I had installed the plugin if only I had read all the information I would have already had the feature I wanted.

Well in some way, it was fate that did all of that.....for those who believe in fate. I believe if I had installed all the features in the first place I would not have learnt what I did this morning in such a memorable way. In helping others there is a strong possibility that we are helping ourselves. Leaving a simple comment on a post led me to a deeper understanding of what I need.

Again, I want to laud the community hare at Wealthy Affiliates. We are a community of helpers and that is why we are a force to be reckoned with in the world of affiliate marketing.
