Frustration with Street Articles
Hey eyeryone,
This morning I woke up and checked my emails to find my first Street Article had been published. I thought this is exciting and thought I would share this with WA members. However that excitement didn't last to long when I logged in to Street Articles to edit my article as I had a typo.
As a result, lo and behold, I had to resubmit the article. So I thought OK, fine. Then on second thoughts decided, it wasn't worth it just for a typo mistake.
So I proceeded to delete the pending one, and in an instant my original one was gone also. So what to do?
Only thing to do was to correct the typo in my wordprocessor and resubmit the whole thing again.
Do not understand why my original article, which was already approved, was removed as well. So am awaiting approval again.
I think I will leave any typos' alone in future.

Unfortunately, even correcting a typo will require re-moderation by Street Articles. It's to prevent people *gaming* the system by waiting until an article is approved and then returning to edit it and making unacceptable changes, such as adding affiliate links, etc. I'm afraid your "pending" one was already the "replacement" for your published one in the system, so by deleting it you deleted the original. Sorry. :(Rich.
Getting rejected or any form of messing up over at Street Articles is a rite of passage resulting in a badge of honour for endurance and eventual success. It happens to practically everyone. Wear it with pride! :) Rich. x
Spellcheckers - they will never tell you if you have used the wrong word - because the spelling of it was correct! Sorry you had to go through all this. Even with the most careful proofreading, mistakes will sometimes slip through - it happens to all of us! I'm sure common sense will prevail and your article will be accepted. :) george
Replied in the wrong place, Am sure it will George. Thanks. Just a slight delay nothing to worry about. Just wasn't expecting the approved one to be removed too.
I'm so sorry to hear about this. But in any action that we take, the present one will always supersede the previous. Even if your article was approved, since you edited and finally deleted it, the article in actuality was deleted. You made the action on the same article. I hope I make sense here.
Of course, it's always best to edit our articles to check on typos because it is a reflection of ourselves thereby a mirror of our authorship and authority. Anyway, good luck on your next one!
Yes, everyday is a learning experience. While it's true that practice makes perfect, more importantly, we have to practice the right thing as it becomes a second nature.
Sorry you experienced so much trouble, CJ, but I don't think it's ever a good idea to leave a typo alone. Settling for anything less than your best is never the right option, in my humble opinion. From your description, I would assume that deleting a pending article somehow removes the original as well. I'm not really sure exactly how that process works. On the bright side, you've learned a lesson, and probably won't be deleting any pending articles in the future. Proofreading your article several times before submission is always a good idea, as is having someone else read it if possible. Of course, a spell-checker never hurts. I encourage you to always put your best foot forward, and never settle for less than perfection. We're not perfect, of course, but that doesn't mean we can't try. Wishing you all the best! :-)
It is all good thankyou for your comment. It is just a minor delay. I will know for next time
Hi. Typos mean the company isn't at it's best but even global superstores do it. None of us are perfect, I guess.

I'm writing my first article in street articles but it is not letting me format anything. It is only allowing me to type in a straight line. what the heck
