The Grass Is Always Greener On the Other Side
My dream is to replace my current income by working from home with WA.
I have set a 5 year goal for achieving this.
It is to enable me to take care of my family as a stay at home mum, cook yummy food, pick them up from school, etc etc.
Of late, circumstances are proving that this 'dream' is transforming into a necessity that my family and I need NOW rather than in the 5 years time I had planned on!
But how to replace my income within the next 6 months?
ENTER 'The Grass Is Always Greener On The Other Side' UNIVERSE TEMPTATION...........
I have a friend who is having massive success with a rival affiliate marketing company. She has just cleared her first 100K in 16 months!
What if that could be the answer for me? Maybe I should join with her as well? Huge outlay of $$$$ that I don't have, but maybe I could borrow it?
AND SO MY BRAIN GAMES GO!
But the truth I realise about this situation is this.
I will succeed no matter where I choose to go, based ONLY on my drive, determination, and willingness to achieve that success for my business NO MATTER WHAT!
If I put in 100% and I interact with my business at 100%, then my results will indicate that. No matter where I go. No matter what company.
I chose Wealthy Affiliate because it resonated with my values, and how I choose to live my life (and trust me I sure put in the time researching and joining the others).
I am proud to be a member here, and cannot fault the training and the community.
So back to that temptation of 'The Grass Is Always Greener On The Other Side' that was gifted me from the Universe at this time..........
Thanks but no thanks, because the grass here is pretty damn good...more like a beautiful meadow actually.

I am here to tell you this is the way I say this through years of experience loosing money on pipe dreams what is good for some do not always work for others but here you get all the help and support you need to succeed the rest is up to you all the best

Yeah there are a number of ways to approach making affiliate income...
I started this whole online venture through the MLM route actually....They wanted you to push to get sign ups from family, friends, business associates, etc....
What a great way to lose all of them if you did do this (I refused and said I would build up a list of people that actually WANTED and NEEDED the products they were selling).
Plus MLM is a ponzi scheme when it comes right down to it. All of them in my opinion. Sooner or later, when a company is set up this way, there will be losers.
My conscience would not let me profit at the expense of essentially taking hard earned dollars from those who could likley least afford to lose them...
That is what happens at some point with MLM. Plus their requirements to buy the products (autoship) means that 30-40% of their "sales" are actually from members (no way to tell most of the time, this is something they will not publish unless they are publically traded, and even then it is questionable how they come up with their figures)...
Lots of ways to make money....WA and all it includes is an ethical path and it does lead to success, of that I have no doubt. It is how you implement everything is what will make the difference in how much you can earn...

Thanks Dave. That is what put me off too. How could I take money from those who could ill afford to part with what few dollars the have because they really need to make something work.
Great blog Cindy! You're right, I believe that you can match that level of success here at WA if you are willing to work hard for it! From what I have learned and experienced here in such a short time I believe we have a great community and the necessary tools to achieve success.

Hey Cindy, We think alike. I am affiliated with a couple of those high end Income groups, and its all go . The problem is that because they move at such a fast pace meer mortals such as us fall through the cracks , because we just" dont get it".
At this pace and with this support group .. "Slowly Slowly catchee Monkey".

Yes, Cindy, sometimes the grass looks greener on the other side, but we need to know what is it we want and need for ourselves and our family priorities must come first in everything. :))
Thanks Jewel, you are right. I guess the first thing is to be able to live with the choices you make, and whether they honour and respect the values you have. The rest should follow on. :)
