Don't write like an English major
This is a quote from Kyle's lesson in course 2 level 4 (Traffic Breakdown). "Creating content does not mean you have to be an English major."
That is so funny because you do not want to write your content like an English Major. I graduated with a BA in English Literature and had to analyze and write a lot of essays. For us boring English majors, we studied, analyzed and structured our essays according to the genre and literature of the period. Ugh,let me tell you, it was excruciating to be so structured and not be able to express myself in the way I wanted to. (But Shakespeare was pretty cool dude. He was kind of scandalous. I liked writing about his plays.)
Anyway, take it from me, you don't need to be an English major. Just talk about what you know. Write like you would talk and everything will fall in to place.

You're completely right, ww shoukd not expect that readers will have the same level of comprehension. Thank you fir the post.
Hello! Thanks for reading! I think we tend to overthink when we start writing, right? But it's helpful to be here at WA. I can see how Kyle and Carson has structured this site.
When we practice writing our WA blogs, I feel we are Writing 101, practicing our initial draft blog, getting feedback and finalizing our blog for our actual business/audience. Our " grade" is dependent on how our audience grades us, right? I shooting for A+, lol!
I just have to say, I am REALLY benefitting from all the classroom training. WA to me is like a mini University! I just cannot say enough about being in WA. Best platform ever!
Blessings to you and everyone here!
I hear you. I have spent years writing reports in great detail. I have to learn to be short and sweet.

I write like I talk, thanks,
Oh, I think I meant be natural when you write. Maybe some people SHOULD NOT write like they talk. That might be scary! Lol!
