20 Simple Ways to Share Your New Post

The other day I posted an article on here titled My Dreadful Mistake (and how I fixed it). Due to its popularity, and the questions I received, I thought I would share a follow on article with detailed information about how I promote my new blog posts.
What you will see below is a list of things I do to promote my content. I do not necessarily do all 20 of these things with EVERY post I publish, but I do most of them with my new posts.
Here are 20 simple ways to share your new blog posts.
# 1: Tweet it. Make sure you use relevant hashtags.
# 2: Create a YouTube video summarizing your content and link it back to the original post.
# 3: Take the audio clip from your YouTube video and make it a podcast and link back to your original article.
# 4: Set up an inexpensive $20 to $100 PPC campaign to promote your new post.
# 5: Purchase some site comments in Wealthy Affiliate to get some engagement.
# 6: Share your link on your Facebook timeline and ask your friends to like, comment and share it with others.

# 9: Leave forum comments linking back to your new article.
# 10: Email your list announcing your new article.
# 11: Do a guest post for another blogger and link to your new article.
# 12: Consider purchasing a banner ad on another website that links to your new article.
# 13: Share your new article with 3 other bloggers in your niche to see if you can get a link.
# 14: Share on Pinterest and Instragam (the photos from your post).
# 15: Email 10 personal contacts (or private message them on Facebook) who would be interested in learning more about the content.
# 16: Edit two old posts on your blog and link them to the new post.
# 17: Make your post a featured post on your blog, so more people can see it.
# 18: Add a P.S. line to your personal email account linking to your new blog post.
# 19: Identify five people in your target market on LinkedIn or Facebook that you think would be intersted in the information in your new article and share your link with them.
# 20: Consider paying several influencers to share your content with their audience.
This is not an all inclusive list, nor do you have to do everything on this list. What matters most is that you pick at least 5 of these things, that make sense to you, and do them whenever you publish a new article. I hope that helps.
