. I can't think of a title .
I think I'll be offline for a few days ... Or I might be online tomorrow to be distracted ... I don't really know ...
Some of you already know that Roberto Gonzalez, one of my best friends, was kidnapped last Friday ... A ransom was demanded but the kidnappers haven't called back ... So, we don't know how he is, what the situation is ... Nothing ...
Roberto and I have been friends for 20 years. He always calls me buddy. I could always rely on him for anything. I love him like a brother. And now, my heart is broken ...
Roberto is a beloved member of the community, always happy, and with a fantastic attitude. He taught me a lot about attitude. A lot of people are demanding action.
His daughter is asking authorities to find Roberto. Below is the link. I'm not sure if this is appropriate to ask, but all we can do for Roberto is share the link and the hashtag #findroberto to pressure Mexican police to do their job. If anyone would like to share on their social media, I would be very grateful.
thank you

Hi Christine,
I read the article and did post a tweet on my twitter page.
Every bit of public awareness I do believe is important as the article said they feel he was kidnapped by corrupt police officers.
I am glad his daughter is here in Canada.
Blessings,
Michael

All the best,

I am very sorry. Your friend is in my prayers. I hope and pray that he returns home safely soon.
Prayers and good wishes. Having lived in Mexico I know how complex things like this can be. A young man who was a friend of ours narrowly escaped something.

A quick update. Roberto's daughter and the mother of his daughter have contacted Amnesty International and also the Canadian government. A member of the Canadian government has sent letters to members of our local government here to pressure them to find Roberto.
We haven't heard from Roberto in 8 days now ...
It's a good thing that Amnesty International and the Canadian government is involved now, but this is time sensitive ...
I am getting back into my activities. Roberto would tell me to do that. He would tell me to stop being sad and "get on with it, don't cry over something you cannot change, get on with life, live every day to the max." Those were his words, always, so I will live by them. He'll probably tell me off, because I'm sad and worried, but he will be glad that I am getting back to functioning normally.
I hope we'll find Roberto soon.
Thanks, everyone for your kind words and support.
