Achieved my writing goal, and some others :-)

Hello everyone!

Today, I achieved my writing goal in Site Content: over 200,000 words, 200,056 to be exact, in 1 year and 4 months, spread over 4 websites (I am focusing on three of them). That's like two books!

+ the following word count: 169,855 - and this comes from books I wrote.

3875: my poetry book

97,237: a manuscript I finished a few months ago, postapocalyptic fantasy

68,743: the follow up of the previously mentioned manuscript. I have not finished this story yet. Both manuscript still need a lot of work, editing, proofreading, etc.

So, that is a huge writing accomplishment! 369, 911 words in total! Wow, I deserve some chocolate!

I specifically chose the photo above, because it represents my desk accurately, a big mess of papers where I have my goals written, notes, reminders; cell phone; sugar for my tea; empty and full tea cups; a box that has no business there, lol; some decor; flea and tick spray (I just noticed, haha); an empty glass; and some moringa seeds I got off my trees. My laptop is somewhere in between all that. So, as you can see, a very organized desk ;-) chaos in disorder.

Pinterest is steadily improving, in the last two days my views on my vegan Pinterest account went up by 200 (I have not been that active over the last two days).

Checking on Google Search Console, my main website's impressions have increased from 12K to 13,8 K in less than a week :-)

I have not met the Amazon treshold for my book sales yet to get paid (not affiliate sales but directly from books I published), but there is a slight increase, so that is great :-)

Things that WA has done for me:

- Make beautiful connections with people, and even though I have never met any of you in person, some of you have become friends, for which I am very grateful.

- Help my injured knee heal. Since November my knee has been in terrible pain. In January it got so bad that I had to be wheeled around in a wheelchair, I could not walk anymore. I went to three doctors, including an orthopedic and none could help me, except for prescribing me painkillers and glucosamine. Reading blog posts by WA members taught me about turmeric and cbd oil. I started with turmeric and it lessened the inflammation a little. Then I bought cbd oil, which did wonders for me. To make a long story short, I can walk again! I can bend my knee again. It has taken me over 7 months, and the pain is still not a 100% gone, but I can lift my leg, I can get dressed and undressed with ease now. Thanks to reading blog posts to leave website comments ;-) For that I am truly grateful. I am confident that my knee will heal soon and the pain will be completely gone.

- Find a meditation app. By researching meditation apps for a new blog post, I decided to download one of them for myself, and oh my God, I love it! I make time for a meditation session every day now and it makes a world of difference.
This morning I meditated and when I was done, my dogs were all super relaxed and calm, very much in sleep mode, probably from listening to the instructor's voice from the meditation app ;-)

- Reading certain blog posts at the exact time that I needed to read them, providing me with advice that came at the right moment. To how many of you has this happened? Isn't this wonderful?

- Writing my first non-fiction book: a self help book to help people heal from burnout. Publishing date: not set yet, but it will be this year. This was inspired by my newest website, to help people heal from burnout.

- Publishing my first poetry book. I would never have done this without the encouragement of the WA members who commented on my author's website. YOU gave me the idea, and now my book is published, and it just received its first Amazon review, 4 beautiful stars!

----------------------------------------

Work on our websites never stops. I spend so many hours in front of the computer every day, it really is a full time job! Except, that it isn't a job, it is work done with love, so "job" is the wrong word to use.

I am glad I got these little fellows here, whenever I take a break, we go for a walk around my property. I still can't go for long walks, due to my knee, but my property is big, so it's a nice walk anyway :-) Except for little Lucy (last photo), she is 14, has only one eye which is blind, and she has an irregular heart beat, so I either carry her with me or leave her in her bed or vaccuuming the floor which she excells at ;-)

You have made a huge progress. Congratulations Christine! You Have been working very hard and I hope for you soon you’ll get the returns. Stay well. You know I use moringa powder in my veggie juice also some veggie soup. It does a lot of good to the body!

Hi Evelyn,

Yes, moringa is so good for us. I have several moringa trees on my land and I just collected several seed pods. I have so many now, but the good thing is that you can store them for months :-)
