I Must Learn to Take My Own Advice!
Hi Everyone
A while ago I wrote a blog begging people not to forget to take breaks when they are working on their websites!
I don't know about you, but quite often when I am working on my laptop, I suddenly look at the time and discover that I have hardly moved for two or three hours, or even more!
That really is not good. It is really bad for you to sit for hours without moving or having any kind of break. It just is not good for your body, for your blood circulation or your joints, or for your mind.
Ideally, we should take about five minutes break after every hour, and move around a bit, maybe make a drink before resuming work. And we really shouldn't go for more than about two and a half or three hours without taking at least half an hour's complete break. Maybe go for a walk in the fresh air, or have an exercise session. And try to relax for a while :)
That will stimulate your body and your mind, and when you resume work you will feel refreshed and your brain will be clearer. You will find that you will work more efficiently.
But I'm afraid that I don't often take my own good advice, and I know that I must in the future! I now resolve to take more breaks!
How about you? Do you take enough breaks? If not, why not join me in my resolution? And do let me know if you manage it.
Many thanks for reading this, and I wish you all a great, positive and productive day :)

I Never do that :) Even if I know I should. And all experience tells me it's necessary. I have even given up on improving on that bad habit.
Yesterday I sat 12 consecutive hrs changing the theme on a blog, only interrupted of 8-meter trips for fetching more coffee (and equal length trips to relieve coffee).
I just get too focused and shut out everything.
And today I am back at it, even if I know better.
I know it is so tempting to sit here and finish what you are doing!
But an occasional break is so good for you!! :)
