I just go this email through form Marketo ( apparently he is a successful marketer ) maybe not internet marketer but there is't that much information to tell. Anyway I'm sure more people here may have got the email too...
My question is. do you think this is worth attending ? it says in this link:

"Marketo is traveling the globe and stopping in London to share expert advice on B2B marketing strategy and what it takes to drive revenue like a marketing rockstar."
Would B2B marketing be relevant to internet marketing ? Or would this be a waste of time ?
Just looking for people thoughts on this :). If it turns out that this is worth going to then maybe the folk here that are from the UK should think about it :).
Anyway what do you guys think ?

Right ok I see I had a look at marketo.com looks like you could be right. Although the business card idea is pretty good.
I think that it just like one of them Webinar invites where they pitch and hype something up and at the end you get to try/buy (apart from the one's here at WA).
Just had a quick look at marketo.com and the smallest monthly package costs $995 and that's for a yearly contract.
Maybe print your own biz cards and put them on all the cars attending event.
Haha I like the idea of printing of business cards and popping them on car windows!

You would be better purchasing IBP (internet business promoter) then spending coin on the event. Marketo dot com caters to existing businesses that wish to incorporate a software advertising/marketing system for themselves. At least with IBP you will have killer software that helps you analyze and tells you (from SEO metrics point of view) what you have to do to get the more competitive rankings. It would be a safe bet that you would learn more about internet marketing and have a great bit of software at your disposal this route instead. There is far to much hype and sales pitch than actual "education" happening at these events generally speaking. If you were a seasoned marketer you might go to one of these events to 'check out the pulse' of whats happening and/or to find a potential 'new' interesting thing to be involved in. And yes B2B (business to business) marketing is completely relevant to internet marketing.
