A New Way Of Making Money With A Blog

I can't complain.

I've been following WA and the training laid out here for years now and I make a comfortable income from my affiliate commissions each and every month.

Recently however, I've added a new way to make some extra money on the side and it's working wonderfully for me, so I thought I'd share it with the WA crowd.

This is not a method that has been thought in Wealthy Affiliate, but rather an opportunity that came "on its own" as my audience / readership keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Of course, I am talking about sponsored posts!

Since my site is now getting some authority online, a lot of people (i.e companies) have been reaching out to me to do a sponsored post for them.

In the past I've declined these as I do not like to promote products that I have not tried / used myself but I recently re-considered this and when somebody contacts me about doing a sponsored post, I first:

• Ask to be given access to the product so I can try it out myself and
• If I like it, I will do a review for the product (or in one case simply mention (link) it in one of my articles).

My price; $100!

Yep, $100! That is my fee for doing a sponsored post now and get this; just this month; I "sold" 3 of these!

That's a cool extra $300 and the month is only halfway in. I also have a deal with one of my "customers" to do another one in November (but at a discounted price of $60).

I know $300 is nothing to brag about, but I really think this is something I can work on to improve.

The problem is this though; I do not want my site to become "only sponsored posts" so I will probably be limiting this to only 4 a month (if I manage to get them of course)!

That's an extra $400 in my pocket (i,e my PayPal) a month; which is great!

I am just testing this out for now and even though the results have been good so far, I can't really tell if this "trend" will keep up. I will post an update about this whole thing and how it turned out in a few months from now.

Although this may not be suitable for all the beginners here (as you would need proof of traffic to show companies) it's a great monetization method to keep in mind. So..

• Keep at it,
• Don't give up and
• Know that the possibilities of making money online could really just be "endless"!
