What Every Website Should Be Doing To Improve SEO
I just realized something today and i feel like a bit of an idiot because of it.
How many affiliate links on my site were giving out 404 errors.
I still haven't gone through everything but maybe this could be a game changer.
Honestly, I have really struggled for a while. I think I have made such a mess with some of my older work.
On one hand a large percentage of posts of broken images, then there is low quality content that seemed good in the past but now I really don't think it is very good at all and so much work if I want to fix this all.
And then there is of course my affiliate links I need to update.
Problem is that when I switched prettylinks for thirsty affiliates I never realized that I never properly swapped my old links over. Only till now and this is thanks AHREFS

So this is bad as well I signed up for AHREFS about 2 years ago. I had linked to my gmail and i STOPPED CHECKING MY GMAIL. Only because I added Gmail to my Windows Mail App on my browser for easy access that I've started seeing these emails come through.
I actually feel like an idiot. I made my 1st commission today since I think November. Only $6 but jesus christ how many people have I had coming to my websites hitting dead links and for how long lol
Stupid but yes thought I would share this if anyone here isn't using an AHREFs free account get one because these notifications are great actionable tips for SEO
I guess it is good that I'm persistent and I have found this out now rather than later. I will have to see what difference using this tool makes but I will keep going I am too stubborn to not make doing this work.

Only 6$ but its a good sign maybe the tides are finally changing. Only other commission I know about from this year is £1.03 from eBay but I do wonder about all these 404 affiliate links maybe now they are sorted out this might help as well.
