Spring Cleaning - Possibly Some Helpful Tips

Hi guys, recently I paid for some help with on site SEO. Paid $30 on Fiverr the guy said these were my main issues;

• Metas aren’t optimized
• Headers need to be optimized.
• Images Alt Tags are missing.
• Sitemap needs to be optimized
• Robots needs to be optimized.
• OG Metas needs to be optmized.
• CSS resources are not minified.
• Not using JavaScript resources .
•Not using cache header for images.
etc..

Order was delivered today. Results might take a while to show. He wants to do more work but anyway so I decided to do some further SEO myself.

I wanted to share this as I thought it might be helpful for people.

This is all free you don't need to pay anyone.

So #1 if you haven't done so get yourself a free account with AHREFs

If you do what I do I get an SEO report every couple weeks I think it is - might be every week.

I have my gmail added to my windows mail app as well so I can easily see when new reports are ready.

Anyway so today I have been going through my report and fixing my 4XXX errors.

I am no way near done yet but also every post I've been editing I think almost I have been making other changes to.

Mostly, I would say this has been 1# resizing images -

This is quite easy to do if you are using blocks like me. Just click on the image block

there is 100% 75% 50% 25% - this is a good tip - where you can make your images smaller as this helps with pagespeed.

Also if you notice any empty meta descriptions fill those in.

Then my second tip check your affiliate links. This is kind of shocking how many dead links I've found today. Definitely check for these too but main thing don't obsess just try and fix your links and get out and move on to next one.

I'm not even finished yet lol but I thought it would be nice to share these ideas with people. Not sure how this will affect my rankings but definitely nice to clean things up a bit.
