38 Today ???? Update on My Blogging Activity
Hi Everyone, had a bit of a slump with activity recently. One of my sites I was pretty excited about it as the impressions and clicks were going up and up - I was publishing new content daily and I think this site was doing better than all my others previously.
This was all good to I think April - one day I checked in search console and all the Impressions have zeroed out. Just like my other website.
So thanks Google for your last update. My traffic has been decimated and I have kind of not felt like blogging much. Although, for my Bday today I wrote a post yesterday on my newest website. Maybe a big ask but I wrote a long post to share on Facebook alongside this asking people if they would donate to my GoFundMe page for my bday.
If anyone here wants to chip in £5 lol my plan is to raise £1250 towards going to South America - Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Easter Island.
Seems like I'm a long way away from this but anyway. Raised £5 so far but thought I would put this out there today if anyone wanted to buy me a Bday drink as this would be better for me. I don't drink anymore 5 months almost now for me.
So, it hasn't just been my dead traffic that has stopped me blogging. I started a new eBay at start of the year so I'm now running 2 accounts. I've just got back on Amazon as well currently awaiting brand approval but I've just started making sales there too.
Although, I have done a lot of work in 4 years and I'm currently paying $300 a year for WA, $200 for Systeme.io, £10 a month for Canva and couple of other tools but is just a difficult one blogging really - is everyone else struggling the same or is it just me?

Happy Birthday Chivs.Wozzy is probably correct about the lack of response...everyone is getting beat up by Google's changes. Don't despair as there are plenty of other ways to get traffic flowing. Social Media, UGC, etc.

You probably ain't going to get many replies as people here don't respond to what they might call negativity.
Many people have been hammered by Google.
I understand your motivation is probably at an extreme low.
I took a 10 month break and prior to that spent a solid 2 years writing 460 posts but last October all the traffic zeroed out.
Google for reasons unbeknown likes certain sites and drops others.
Everything has changed and you have to try and find a work around but what is that work around because nobody seems to know.

You're certainly not the only one to get hit by Google over the last couple of months....
Now is the time to diversify!
Hope you get to South America, I lived in Brazil for 7 years and it's a fantastic place!
