The 5th and final Procrastinator type is.........
The Fearful / Avoider Procrastinator
A frequently encountered reason for procrastination is fear of your goals and tasks which causes a quick willingness to postpone the work.
The types of fears that cause procrastination could because you are
- Afraid to make a mistake or fail. Unwilling to take a risk?
You shudder at the thought of starting something and failing. Fearful Procrastinators are always worrying about something!
You are really more concerned about what others would think of you although you would also likely feel more worse than if you had not started it
So instead of taking the risk, you prefer to postpone the work getting yourself to accept that you will take the plunge when you feel more confident – which time always seems to be elusive.

Once again, you are worried about what other people are going to think.
So instead of starting right away, they procrastinate with learning – webinars, courses, workshops, coaching, reading, night classes etc.
- Afraid of your complex task or project
Your fear could come from your having tried it before and failed, or it is just too far out of your comfort zone that you are terrified of how to even begin.
