Good Morning Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by!

I wanted to start off with this great quote from Dr Seuss. The Dr. had an amazing gift and shared it with many. I grew up reading his books.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”

Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!

Have You Ever Done This ?, lol

Now for my serious side!

Environmentally Conscious Values

● Purchase supplies and materials from local sources when possible

● Use recycled materials for office supplies, product parts, and product packaging

● Install energy efficient lighting, heating and air conditioning

● Install low-flow plumbing

● Ensure that all lights, computers, and other electronic devices are turned off or even unplugged when your business is closed

● Reduce paper consumption by storing your files digitally in the cloud

● Donate used office equipment

● Dispose of batteries and electronic devices through approved safe recycling programs Implementing these sustainable practices at your business is the first step.

There are so many ways to recycle and reduce, that I can't list them all on one post.

I am the recycle and reuse Queen in my home and I think I might be driving my family slowly mad, but I do it anyway.lol

My daughter is probably is the hardest one to convince, because she is a little spoiled. But, I am not going to stop working on her and everyone else for that matter.

Back to work now, take care everyone and I hope to see you in the community!

My daughter is the recycle nazi! LOL. Even her 4 year old is on board. I'm good but she's brutal.....you'd love her. :-)

That's great Kim, I have to manually shut them down, but it seems like I'm the only one that does, but then, I pay the light bill, so I guess that explains it

Yes, I do quite a few of these. I have a blog on my site about power strips that automatically turn off when Computers, TV's, DVR's, Printers...etc are not in use. It also talks about a monitor you can plug into the wall and then plug your device into it to see how much amperage you are drawing with that device. Also strips that are on a timer.
Thank for sharing.
Kim :))

These are great ways. I wish I can also become the recycle queen. Thank you very much for sharing.

Thank you for stopping by! Best of luck

You are most welcome

Thanks Carla, just getting started. Have a good one :)

All great tips, Cathy! Thanks for sharing! Loved Ted Geisel, a/k/a Dr. Seuss. :)
