THIS Is What Success Is Built On - Why I Enjoy "Fast" Success Today!
23 Million Dollars
Today is 23 March 2023.
Yesterday, someone in our sister island, Tobago, won 23 million (Trinidad & Tobago) dollars in our national Lotto draw. That is about 3.3 million US dollars.
Seems like some pretty pennies.
It got me thinking about the "luck of the draw" and what it really takes to succeed.
My mind also drfited and popped the question: "You bought tickets, Cassandra. How come you didn't win? What made that person so special that they were "picked"?
Those thoughts quickly left my mind as I smiled and reminded myself:
"You are resilient, Cassandra. You are blessed. You are successful. You have what it takes and that is more valuable than 23 million dollars!"
And you know what?
I truly believe that!
Fall Seven Times
Everytime I share some achievements, as I did on 20 March 2023, I receive a flood of messages and questions about how I did it and in such a short space of time too.
Well, the truth is that I did it by "falling" and "failing", not just 7 times but perhaps more than 70 times.
Most people tend to look at the shiny and colourful side of success. They jump in and crave the RESULT and OUTCOMES.
Then, they get frustrated because they are not able to find that level of success for themselves.

If you haven't, here it is, applied to success.

Do you see all the chaos below? That is what success is built on!
LESSON:
If you want an easy, luck-and-chance path, play the lottery and die waiting.
If you are serious about success, learn to build a relationship with "failing" and "falling".
Get Up EIGHT Times!
Geez!
If I start to list all the times I have had to drag, pull and push myself back up on my feet, I will be writing for about a month - non-stop!
This, THIS, my WA Community, is what I believe to be at the heart of success.
You see resilience, courage and belief in yourself?! Few people have it.
And that, right there, is why the majority of people give up so easily or do not find success "fast" enough.
You have not learned how to get yourself back up!
You give up quickly.
You blame the platform.
You blame the tools.
You blame Google.
You blame your partner.
You blame time!
You blame the system.
Hell NO!!
It is YOUR fault!
It is YOUR responsibility!
Own it!
Every single lesson, all the support that you need, whatever you want to know is available to you on the internet.
And if you do not want to take my word for it, here is what our Prince Partha had to say about this earlier:

I agree, a great post. Failure is when we decide that we have had enough and we have put in enough effort and it didn't work for us. It is and always will be our decision to fail.
Even when people put you down, it is your decision to listen to them.
I continue to get up and try again, it is the only way.

Love the "iceberg model" , I have never come across this before but it makes perfect sense!!

I see so many opinions in comments on the WA blog roll showing the obvious that Partha has voiced so well in what he writes, and it saddens me.
One of the recent best examples of this is how the discussion on AI took off at the end of 2022/start of 2023 related to AI..... it was not on a positive tone in the beginning, and statements about what was written in Google guidelines were also wrong and outdated.
The way you sum up the whole message you have, which is a GREAT KICK IN THE BUTT to many, is your words:
It is YOUR fault!
It is YOUR responsibility!
Own it!
