Behave Like A Wealthy Affiliate Ambassador And, You Will Be
Woven into my music playlists while I work are some motivational and inspiring speakers. People like Oprah, Tony Robbins and Steve Maraboli.
I worked until 2:00 a.m. this morning and to keep my mind fueled and charged I listened to Steve talk about Bruce Lee. As a child, I ate and drank Bruce Lee and wanted to be one of those really cool, quiet, strong persons who cleared the room with their stoic, commanding poise.
Ah well . . . that dream never materialised.
While I listened to Steve, I was reminded that there is a BEHAVIOUR to success. This stood out because I have received many PMs from WA Members asking what they need to do to become an Ambassador and be successful.
I cannot tell you what to DO. What I can say though is that how you BEHAVE will determine what you attract into your life and that will determine your success.
You Are More Than A Title
- Am I happy to carry the title of "Ambassador" at WA? Of course, I am!
- Does the title define who I am? No it does not!
- Will my BEHAVIOUR be the same with or without the title? Yes it will!
- Will I enjoy more success because I am now a WA Ambassador? Only if my BEHAVIOURS are already aligned with what an Ambassador represents.
In my experience, that last point is perhaps the toughest lesson to understand, internalise and implement.
We live in a world that forces us into boxes and we allow our BEHAVIOURS to be constrained, confined and limiting.
If you only see yourself as a title, that is as much as you will ever be.
Define Your BEHAVIOUR And EXECUTE!
The last word in Steve's quote in my heading is EXECUTE.
If BEHAVIOUR is the starting point, EXECUTION is at the other end of the pendulum. If you do not act, you will not get where you want to go. Plain and simple. You have to move and, keep moving.
So, we are back to BEHAVIOUR.
I keep this quote from the Poet, Wadsworth, on my wall where I work:
I dream big dreams, like being Bruce Lee. From there, I begin to extract and plan what I really want to achieve. My plan is defined, my steps are laid out and I make sure that my BEHAVIOURS can get me where I want to go.
There is no arrogance when I say that I will be successful at WA, (with health and life permitting). I have carefully mapped that out and my BEHAVIOURS are driving my actions.
For now, being blessed with the title of Ambassador is only a stepping stone. It is not my final destination.
It should not be yours either.
So, if I may ask, will your BEHAVIOURS get you where you are going or do you need to make some adjustments - now?
Ponder on that while you make today better than yesterday and, please share so we can support each other.

Hahaha I broke my foot yesterday working in WA I was posting an article got done my foot fell asleep I took a step it buckled the wrong way and I heard it snap my son took me to the hospital but other than that I’m great

Exactly, work ethics, discipline, grit, persistence. The Chinese are generally having an extraordinary work ethic, smart work, and hard work all roll into one. They have a plan to be rich and they work on it till they get it.

All so very true Cassi. Bruce Lee had much more beneath the surface. To reach the levels of excellence he achieved, takes more than long hours of practice. As you say, behaviour is key.
As I was reading through each paragraph, my mind kept saying "Ooo, that reminds me of another quote." Alas, it would probably take me an hour to find each one, especially as I wouldn't be able to remember the exact words.
That said, it did make me think of something that I found today, whilst searching for the quote "Be the change you want to see in the world" by Mahatma Gandhi.
I used it in response to Joe's quote by Leo Tolstoy "Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
It's that underlying theme that sometimes flows through the digital veins of WA.
Anyway, while searching for the exact words of Mahatma Gandhi, I came across an article that threw light on that quote, a different light actually.
We have the paraphrased version, probably a more palatable 'sound byte' for our minds. I'll leave you with the director's cut, if you will.
“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.” – Mahatma Gandhi

I am not the same person I was when I entered WA in October 2019 and I value my learning, growth and behavioral shifts.
It takes a village . . .
And that, to me, is where the real success emanates.
Everythng else is icing on the cake.

You are most welcome Cassi and I totally agree. If we are open to it, then WA has the ability to change who we are as people. We get to interact with such a diverse collection of people on a daily basis, it would be sad if we weren't able to learn and grow from that.
