An Invitation For $45-$70 Per Hour As a WRITER

Last Update: May 20, 2022

TGIF!!!

It s Friday and I will make this blog post a quick one. I am in Florida, USA and leaving Winter Haven to drive 3 hours to Jacksonville to visit relatives.

It continues to be a rewarding and eventful year, month and week and I am grateful for all the opportunities that keep rolling in.

A Writing Invitation

2 days ago, I received this email invitation. I did not apply They reached out to me.

Before I joined Wealthy Affiliate (WA), I strengthened my writing skills through learning at the American Writers & Artists Institute (AWAI). I am still a member there.

$45-$70 Per Hour = $1,800-$2,800 Per Month

The fee offering is fairly reasonable also and training will be provided.

Opportunities like these abound and it is up to each one of us to position ourselves to receive them and then take action.

From our WA training, we can all become good Writers and SEO competent.

It is up to you to change your script!

Happy weekend.

Cassi

Hi Cassi. This is very interesting. I am a member of AWAI and "Barefoot Writers" too. I'm trying to focus on affiliate marketing, but I see many ways to incorporate their great information into affiliate marketing blog posts, especially here at WA in the way of writing about writing, opportunities in the field, etc. Same with travel, I also have an "International Living" membership. There are so many ways to proceed, it is hard to narrow it down.

Hi Donna,

We seem to have travelled similar paths.

My AWAI skills helped me a lot in WA.
Using the skills I learned in both places, I have been able to create and grow a very profitable writing and online coaching revenue stream.

Now, my focus is on Affiliate Marketing and strengthening the foundation for my business.

My suggestion?

Make a list of all that you see possible.
Organise them into short, medium and long-term buckets.
Then, start building them out.

I wish you the very best.

Great info Cassi.

Working from home in this way is a pretty good proposition. Cassi, you have built a fine reputation in creative writing, which took a lot of effort. Way to go. I hope this works out for you.

This makes eminent sense as long as entrepreneurs do not treat this as a full-time job. It can be an excellent source of part-time income and still leave time to devote to your online business.

However, if one wanted to take this full time, the pay could be very attractive. Like $2,000 a week. As long as you can get a stream of writing assignments to fill your available work hours.

Thanks for sharing,

Edwin

Good morning Cassi,

Thank you for your blog post. I hope you're doing well.

It never fails to amaze me how many opportunities can arise when we make ourselves available and utilise the training here at Wealthy Affiliate! Congratulations for making things happen, I know that you have been working hard and have been very focused.

It's interesting that you joined a writers platform, I wonder if there is something similar in the UK. I would really like to improve my writing skills. I did purchase a Kindle book on writing for dummies, I'm afraid that it hasn't been used very much!

Have a great weekend and thank you for the excellent and encouraging blog post.

Roy, the Writer's Bureau that Rohit is suggesting is quite good also.
You can find AWAI online.

Enjoy the weekend also.

Good morning Rohit,

Thank you so much for your help, it's really appreciated. I have just looked them up and found their website. Have you actually used the company? I see they have a telephone number, I may give them a call later on today.

Have a great day.

Hi Roy,

Many, many years ago, I was a member of The Writer's Bureau.
Their programmes are excellent and they helped me to become a much better Writer and Editor.

Since moving on to working online over the past 10 years or so, I have not kept updated on what they now offer.
I am sure that they are still just as good.

Let me know what you decide.

Enjoy your week ahead!

Good morning Cassi,

That's interesting as although I blog regularly, I feel my writing could improve greatly with the correct training. I actually tried to give the Writers Bureau a call yesterday, however, they were closed, I will try again today.

It's always good to hear about real-life experiences with the various training platforms available. I appreciate your input, thank you.

Have a great day.

Good morning Cassi,

Thank you very much, I actually have their tab open on my browser now! The last few days have been quite busy so I haven't had much time to look properly. I did call the Writers Bureau on the telephone, I believe it could be very useful.

Have a great day and thank you for your original blog post on the subject.

Wishing you a great day.

Good morning Cassi,

Thank you very much! If I had never read your blog post, I wouldn't have made contact! It's amazing what we can learn from others.

In the UK we have a bank holiday due to the Queen's Jubilee, so most people have four days off. I have had to work Thursday and Friday, however, I have the weekend off!

Have a great day and a great weekend.

Do enjoy your long weekend, Roy!

I am looking forward to taking in whatever celebrations I can in the UK when we visit in August.
We are blessed to have the Queen with us for so long.

Thank you, Cassi!

That's great that you are visiting the UK, I guess that you will be staying in London. Let's hope that the weather will be good. The UK has some wonderful countryside and places to visit!

Yes, I hear you, 70 years is a long time to be on the throne! The Queen also has some very good Christian values.

Enjoy your Sunday.

I will be travelling all over, Roy.

My cousin is getting married in Suffolk.
I am heading across to Kent and then to Dorset to visit with my relatives there.

We are really looking forward to it.

Have a good week.

Good morning Cassi,

That's great that you will be travelling all over! I know many people come to visit the UK and stay in London, however, the UK has so many beautiful places!

We actually live near the Essex/Suffolk border, I have always liked Suffolk! There are some beautiful villages on the Suffolk/Essex border and in Suffolk itself.

That sounds like a really nice holiday, Cassi.

Have a great day.

Roy, I went to Boarding School in Framlingham and Framlingham Castle was my daily stomping ground.
My Dad's sister lived in Stowmarket.

I love the English countryside and miss it a lot at times.

You are blessed to live there.

Good morning Cassi,

My sincere apologies, I somehow missed your reply!

I trust that you are doing well and keeping busy.

The Internet has definitely made the world a much smaller place! That's interesting, when I was looking after livestock a lot of the food came from Bibby's Mill at Framlingham!

I have a friend who lives in a village near Stowmarket, I always go the scenic route to see him as I love to see the Suffolk countryside! I'm glad that you appreciate the English countryside!

There is a country lane a few yards from where we live, I walk the dog up there every day! I never get bored of the English countryside, there is always something to look at and admire!

Wishing you a great Sunday.

I agree that opportunities abound when we take the training that is here in WA and use it to help ourselves and others. The opportunities will sometimes land in our lap and at other times will be discovered through discussion and or meetings.

I was at an industry meeting (my old industry) last Thursday and it looks like I will be able to move a website for a colleague to my WA hosting and then help him maintain it.

We are meeting again tomorrow to go through it.

WA offers a lot of opportunities.

Cassi, this is great! I have a consulting business where I make $100 per hour right now. I know you can make money writing. If you asked my Mom if I would be a writer she would laugh because I was a terrible writer but I got better over time. I am also an engineer and engineers are not known to be good writers. Have a fun vacation!
