Branding yourself : Become a commodity that people want

The idea behind self branding is to essentially make yourself into a "product" that people are will to"pay for",In the case of blogging, listen too. You want people to trust what you have to say and think that you are a credible source of information. That is the general idea behind self-branding.

Self-branding, when done correctly can be a career benefiting move. To benefit form self- branding, find personal fulfillment and economic success you must be able to successfully create and project a self-conscious persona. One that makes the world think that they are entrepreneurial, knowledgeable positive and self-motivated. It is all about constructing an image that to appeal to a particular audience.

For example, if you are writing a blog about "losing weight," you need to write in such a way that makes the "reader" (fat person) feel good about there progress so far and feel motivated to continue to lose weight by doing the thing that you have suggested in your blog. This way the person will feel good about coming back to read your blog and think that you are a good source of information and recommend you to there friends.

Some other ways to self- brand are by :

having a relevant user name/ blog title
multiple social media accounts/ facebook , twitter etc
blogging (obviously)

your blog should include depending on what you are doing a meet me, work in me , email me , Social media links, articles, videos, recommendations and best of.
