A Method To The Madness
Hello Wealthy Affiliate Family!
First let me say that I have not posted here for a while if anyone hasn't noticed. Actually some of you have and have PM'd me to check up. I appreciate that. There is only so much time in the day and there is a method to my madness. I have been connecting with niche relevant people in FB groups and other social media platforms. There is absolutely no monetary gain for any of this at the moment but that is okay. I can afford to take my time getting there and that is actually part of my five-year-plan that I mentioned in earlier posts.
I remember when I first came here to Wealthy Affiliate and was excited and learning a lot. I had my goals and moved up the ranks quickly to Ambassador (for one day I think - Lol); I moved up the ranks and was making lots of connections and friends. I was learning the ropes. I wondered what the 'method to the madness' was with all of this training and content stuff. Trust me I understand it now! But I remember wondering about it. But I was excited and moving ahead with my plan.
When life happens it is easy to lose that excitement.
I never lost the vision but lost momentum. I am back on track. I am going to start walking again, then jogging, then my plan is to be off and running before too long. I still plan to make a six figure income online.
But I hope to make it here to chat in Live Chat, Help out, and post updates for those who care to learn of my progress. Until then I will be on Facebook making more connections and on my website building more much sought after content (Google sought).
Again thank you to all that reached out to check in.
Those that wondered but didn't I understand --- there is only so much time.
Oh btw --- I love the new content builder for blog posts here! Great update!

The line that stood out for me, "I never lost the vision but lost momentum" Therein lies the key...
We all lose momentum but if we have a strong vision and purpose then the momentum can be regained. On the other hand momentum without vision and purpose is destined for death.

So true Suzanne! So true. I have heard that to fail to plan is to plan to fail --- I believe now it can also be said "to fail to prioritize is to make failure a priority". Who would ever do such a thing! Lol

I am sorting my social media out, it is another huge subject that is very important to master to gain traction for our online business. All time consuming but necessary.
I guess I have a jump in that respect but there are still things I do not know. The marketing aspects of FB are still foreign to me. Time is our adversary and ally both. I think it is all a matter of how we use it and don't let it use us. If that makes sense to you or anyone beside just me. :-D

I still can't do the FaceBook thing yet, it feels like a step back!
It seems like years ago, I have a computer now! No more struggling on iPhones...........

Yes let's catch up later. In a sense Facebook is a step back for me. I started my online journey there about seven years ago building groups and connecting with people. It is 'old hat' to me. Very good to hear from you Wayne! I am a surfing fool. Lol

You assumed correctly although my momentum here in WA was stalled. I was still progressing in other places. And when it appeared that WA began spilling over onto FB I reconnected with several there. Bo Tipton's videos there were a good challenge to me. And part of the reason I am back and wanting to stay connected here.
Good stuff Carl like you say there is only so much time in the day, it is about making those hours count and also to make them productive best wishes as your journey continues.
Facebook groups are a brilliant place to learn and make connections, always good to have broad horizons.
Indeed it is! And I love to connect with people. I only run into the occasional abrasive fool that wants to argue rather than connect. In many ways though I was once that fool. So no hard feelings to anyone reading this who likes to argue. Lol
