Upgraded To Windows 10
I recently done a free upgrade of my laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Jan 14th was the date that Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7. I was able to upgrade to Windows 10 after searching on the internet for Windows 10 Software I came across a website that had information about getting a free upgrade. I backed up all my important documents for safety measures and made a note of all my important software incase I lost those programs during the upgrade, and might have to reinstall them. I had the option to download the installation file and then run the upgrade or run the upgrade straight from the website, so I chose to run the upgrade from the website, it was about 1:30am. At 3am it was still going through the process so I decided to leave it running and go to bed. When I woke up in the morning about 8am all I had to do to finish the upgrade was to choose a few different options which took about another 30 minutes to complete and all is working fine I didn't have to reinstall any of my programs, neither did I need a different licence key, My laptop actually works better now with Windows 10. Happy...happy...happy.

I did that last year--it has been a world of difference, though I also liked Windows 7--it was like an old friend!
Hi Jeffrey that's great, I did like Windows 7 as well.
Anyway I'm glad it was a straightforward upgrade, which didn't cost me any extra expense.
All the best to your success

So glad to hear that it all worked out for you and nothing is going wrong.
