Silly me, should've checked things out properly ... looks doable but I can't seem to figure it out fully, duh! Anyone done this? All advice greatly appreciated thanks
Weebly accounts can't be transferred to WA as far as I know because they are owned by weebly my Friend.
Yeah too much red tape me thinks, got to a certain point & hit a brick wall, LOL ... might have to suck it up & either redo or pay the double whammie premium!

Was wondering if it was ok to link our BLOGS we post here in WA to our own websites?
The rules state that we cannot promote ourselves here within WA. So no. You should not put links in your blogs. But as Jude says, put your links to your blogs in your websites. The point would be to get people here to your blog to become a member at WA. Not have a member read and see a link to WA. Or even your website. Make sense?
Thanks Rick nah not wanting to promote website but go the other way & externally attract people to things I've written up here in WA by putting links on my website that points here.
You would do it the other way around.
You can link FROM your website TO your WA blog post.
In fact, you can add/embed your affiliate link from the top of any WA member's post and embed it into your website. Click on the affiliate link at the top, next to the little blue-white anchor wheel, and you can copy/paste it from there into your website.
~Jude
P.S. Wow, you've got two Jude's answering your question....lol.
LOL sure am feeling special having two Judes answer! Yes that's what I was wanting to do, link from my website to WA.
I don't think so as that would involve putting a hyperlink into your posts here on WA, which could then be viewed as spam or self-promotion, which is forbidden. You can of course ask people to visit your profile and go to your website from there :)
Oh no, other way round there Jude ... having links on website that point to content written up here in WA?
I see no reason why not in that case. The posts you write here are also indexed by Google so just be careful not to do any duplicate content, just link through when it's relevant to what you're writing on your site :)

Is there a checklist stating:
- What to do?
- What needs to be added / removed / deactivated?
- Is there a good plugin to do all this?
Hi Cheryl. Check out this website: https://gtmetrix.com/
It will give you some insight to what is slowing down your page load speeds.
Hi there Gary, oooh just finished coming from there, but couldn't decipher what I was staring at, LOL, must be too late at night! Will check it out in the AM thanks. Now following!
Your website can be slow from too many plugins. Have you loaded a lot of plugins, and do you need them all?
You can de-activate some plugins that you do not need, and then see if your website speeds up!

That's good to know. I've never heard of weebly til now. Thank you for the information.
Yeah basic CMS stuff already done for you, looks professional like but like Tony says ... not transferrable, sucky!
