Is a 16 part free Video course on free traffic a good freebie for list building?

Squeeze pages offer little value and they look ultra scammy. Your website looks questionable and I think a lot of folks will feel the same way. Create a site that offers value, teach people something, and let your audience choose whether they want to opt-in to your course.
The course that you're offering is not going to teach people how to be successful in these topics, so I'd think that after joining the list, people will be quite disappointed.
You would be better off to offer people something that you can deliver on. Choose ONE of the techniques perhaps. MORE is not always better. If someone says to you that they will give you 1 Million ways to build a website (For Free), that is no better than offering ONE way.
I'm sorry Carson but I don't agree. Did you watch the 16 videos? I don't think so. It's a good series that will learn people to drive free traffic to their website and I really don't understand why you say my page looks scammy. Is it because on WA you learn the same stuff? As you can see I invited 66people already to WA so there is no competition here ;-)
I see you removed my link to the squeeze page. You better remove the whole thread. How can people judge if you remove the link?

What are the best mails to send when people just joined for free?
This really depends on where they are coming from, there is not "swipe" email that fits every angle, it really depends on the relationship you have with these people.
There is a good webinar on email marketing and "dating" your list. I also created a tutorial on this concept if you do want to look it up within a search.

Hope this helps.

Dear government, The other day one of my website was disabled by WA authorities LOL! Almost two days later I heard the reason. I was using a plugin called Addthis and according to
Hey Carel,
Unfortunately, WordPress is open source, so anyone can create themes or plug-ins and display them for immediate download. I've seen plug-ins that are deliberately designed to hijack traffic and affiliation commission, add spam ads and content, lock owners out of their sites permanently and also attempt to hack other sites on shared hosting all under the guise of offering some innocuous *must have* and usually unnecessary benefit.
I always recommend checking the number of downloads a plug-in has, how long it's been available and when it was last updated by the developer (ie. is it abandonware), then get three opinions on it from the membership here and take legal advice. If someone decides to go ahead and install it after that, they're on their own!
If you want to check the plug-in overhead on a site, then another plugin (!) P3 Profiler can usually provide relevant data.

Thanx Rich! ;-) I assumed Addthis is a renowned company....... What whould you suggest as a social sharing tool with each post or on each page?
