Why are you NOT using email marketing?
Hey folks
There are so many tutorials about the benefit of using email marketing and building a list, so I would actually get onto something a bit different here asking you....
WHY YOU ARE NOT BUILDING A LIST?
What are the main reasons for newbies or even older marketers NOT to build a list?
Can be whatever reason YOU have, actually very interesting to see the different reasons which can maybe surprise us List Builders.

Believe building our own email visitors and social networks are very important and take lots of time that must be set aside everyday.. ^_~

newbie here, I am attempting to build a list, I rx an exell file with email names that cost $20 a month from a company. I hesitate to tell you who I don't want it to appear like I am trying to sell it on this forum. They are double optin names with time and date stamps. I have a squeeze page that my wife built, she does websites(html) for a living. I purchased Jmailerpro bulk emailer and aweber and use pre developed response emails from this company. The message I am using from jmailer is not creating a list, a few thousand of these names are buyers of products dealing with home based business and what I am marketing is the sale of these leads. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Interesting. Do you see genuine email marketing also as spam? I mean the one you signup and get real good stuff and sometimes an offer?

Listbuilding is THE most important part of your business strategy. Without listbuilding you have to produce way more traffic to get the same results as those visitors which didn't act on your offer and leave your site are 99.9% lost visitors. They only come back if you have a damn good content on your site which frequently changes.
Anyhow, a lot IM's, principally the newer peeps, don't start with listbuilding due to.....
That's what I want you to tell us.
Is it the price, or because you don1t know what to do or what to send to them etc...
Caylynn for example told us that he hates spam so he doesn't use listbuilding. It's valid but it's a wrong kind of thinking IMO.
Who else does have his name at the dentists customer list, or has a magazine or newspaper subscription, or some subscription online?
That's all listbuilding and if you think that spam sucks (like the rest of us) then you have to work it out to send VALUE to your subscribers.
Believe me, offering genuine help to your subscribers will make you a real authority in your niche.
And last, your list is a valuable asset, for traffic, sales, ad swaps, solo ads etc...
A list means power and wealth, so don't miss to build a list.
I anyhow would like to know why you don't build a list?

I know that I need to build a list but I really don't know the best way about it. I have a free offer on my website but as i'm not getting much traffic yet mainly other WA members I am not getting any leads. What is the best way to get subscribers?
