I have found businesses that are mom-pop having facebook fan pg and on pg 1 of google. What would a website do for them that facebook fan page will not?

I have found businesses that are mom-pop having facebook fan pg and on pg 1 of google. What would a website do for them that facebook fan page will not?
A website will allow you first to own the site that your content is posted on which means you have control of it not FB and anyone else. You can optimize the site for the keywords you want to generate traffic from. This is not possible on FB as all the content is on one page. These are just a few of the important benefits of owning your own website.
Would It also be true that a website with keywords can focus on the buyer who is ready to buy instead of the buyer who is to early in the life-cycle who may just be reseaching presently.

I would do it differently. You already have the first site ranked. I would send snail mail to each pest control company in the area to see who would like to purchase (or lease) the site. Having it already ranked is a good selling point. Let each one know that only one company will get the use of the site and that some personalization will be added.
Do your research first and make sure that the companies you offer services to are all reliable.
If you review different local companies on the same site they might all shy away from you.
Hi, the links to your 2nd and 3rd website are not working. I've had a look at your first site. And I'm a bit confused about the purpose of the website and homepage. It also looks like you can use more keywords, or optimize it better for keywords. In my opinion, Google doesn't worry if your site looks nice, it's all about the content, keywords, and links. Hope I could help.
