Hopefully getting the hang of Facebook soon
I have been trying social media marketing for a little while now, and I think I've finally gotten the hang of it from working with Senegence on Facebook.
I joined lots of groups and have been studying the way others post, what gets the most reactions, likes, leads, etc, and it has really been helping a lot.
The best thing you can do when starting something new is look to others who are already successful. Ask them for tips or to join forces with you! People are usually really excited to help you out and you may even make a new friend in the process.
I've made lots of connections this way, and you have people you can talk to about your specific struggles with whatever niche or business you are working with.
That's the power of social media!

Indeed, Heather. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket. Social media accounts you can't control. Facebook and other social media sites are notorious for changing rules that can impact affiliates negatively.
But with your own site, you're in full control. So be sure you're spending as much time writing new content so your site is found by people actively looking for information on google. Social media should just be one of many traffic sources.
Hi Heather, thanks for sharing this.
I've been wondering a lot about it lately, as I'm getting closer to adding Facebook and creating a page.
This sounds encouraging, I don't feel as intimidated :)
I have searched for relevant groups for my niche and haven't come across any yet. When I have more time I'll continue with that.
