About PaulMunns
Joined June 2017
Hi everyone!
I live in the South of England with my wife and daughter and my two Beagles, Toby and Badger. I have two step-daughters. One lives close by and the other has a bar in Majorca.
In Dember 2016 I celebrated my 60th birthday skiing in Austria but need to think about slowing down a little.
I am still working in the Mental Health profession but time is getting on and I need to be looking at retirement in the next couple of years or so.
I enjoy walking my dogs in the woods, mindfulness meditation and lucid dreaming. It now goes without saying (but I will anyway) that Wealthy Affiliates is the new, time-consuming interest and as I embark on yet another new journey I look forward to friendship and success.
Just joined WA and went Premium on 22/06/17.

Thank you for following me, Paul. I followed you as well.

I see you are no stranger to doing fun things either. While I AM still older than you, I think we're very much alike and I look forward to keeping up with your progress.

I wish you much success.

Debbi, You cannot be older! Looking at your photo and then your website I did wonder why you were doing one for Seniors. (lol). And yes it is in our job description to embarrass our children when we overtake them on the slopes or hiking trail.
I wish you the very best of health and success.
Paul. (Thank you for the follow).

Well, thank you, Paul. My profile pix was taken Sept 2017 so it's pretty recent. I'll be 66 in May. I might add that you don't look 60 in your profile pix either.

Now that someone is looking, I guess I better get back to work on that site.

Take care

Hello, Debbi. I don't think I've met you before, but I'm happy to welcome you to WA, and to follow you. If you need any help, I'll be happy to help if I can, but there are always lots of people in the community who are much farther along in their trainng than I am, and they will be happy to assist you as well. Me too, Unlike some this is not a daily practice. Although on a weeks break I am currently redecorating the bathroom!

I know what you mean...I'm painting my kitchen, which really does have to take priority, as I'm considering selling my little mountain cabin that I love so much and moving to an apartment in town. Don't want to, but living alone in relative isolation on the mountain in the winter time and having to walk 1/2 mile to my car in bad weather isn't a good idea any more for someone my age . Sometimes reality has to set in and take precedence over "wants", I'm afraid. Carol

The kitchen is next on my list after the bathroom.
Apart from a couple of years in New Zealand I have lived in a city most of my life. If you do move avoid the bult up areas otherwise with parking restrictions you may still need the 1/2 mile hike to park your car!
Regards, Paul.

You got that right. Lived in St. Louis for 20 years; parking where I lived in the suburbs wasn't a problem, but it the city that's a very different animal!!

Thank you Robert, I am overwhelmed with all the training available. I have never known anything like it. I am just going through the levels bit by bit then when I hit a problem I go looking for answers. Trying not to get too far ahead of myself.
How is the weather up North? We have not had any snow yet down South. Hope it stays that way!
Thank you for the follow although I guess it will be a bit of a one way street!
Regards, Paul.

I can honestly say, hand on heart that I only ever clicked the follow button for Kyle and Carson.
All my other followers have wanted to follow me and its over 5,000 now.

Take the training as it should be step by step.
Remember the Hare and Tortoise - slow but sure wins the race.

You get stuck, you ask questions then you keep asking until all is clear.

Yes we had a few flurries of snow up here in Edinburgh but the real killer is the cold.
One night it was minus 12 and it hasn't go much better since.

Very cold outside right now but I have to get off home so maybe catch you later.

Hi,Robert. Had to jump in here and say hello, as I don't think I've communicated with you before. Great advice about taking the training step by step and requesting help if you get stuck. I can tell by your comments that you've been around awhile and know your way around WA so to speak. I'm one of your 5000 now-- the tortoise! Carol

Hello Carol from a cabin in the mountains in Iowa.
I was born in a cottage in the middle of nowhere and was raised on a farm and worked on the land for about 30 years.
Even though I'm 'Civilized' now and live in a big city I still miss those times out in the wilds.
I only ever had working dogs but there were always plenty of 'Wild' cats around, I remember there were about 30 at one time and they all knew me. (we actually do have Wildcats' here in Scotland)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_wildcat

As I said - I miss those times.
I see you have put in a request to follow me and I will get round to a reply asap before the day dawns for you.
When it does, make it a good one.
Bye for now.
Robert

That is so neat, Robert. Do the wildcats have tails? The picture looks somewhat like the face of our bobcats, except that they have tufts of fur on the tips of their ears.

I have elk that eat my lilies, and of course we have bears. Can't put any garbage or bird feeders out because it will attract them. My neighbor has seen a black and a yellow panther (they refer to them as mountain lions), a mama wolf and her cubs, and a fox. I'm not much of a morning person, so I don't usually see much of anything except the elk. Have heard a panther scream, though...it's blood curdling! Sounds like a woman being murdered.

Do you know Chezbrown? She's my Scottish mentor. Give her a holler. I'm sure she would enjoy hearing from another Scot. Making friends with people from all over the world is one of the things I like most about WA.

Have a great day, Robert.

Oops! I forgot to tell you. I live in North Carolina now. That's where the mountains are. (And out West, of course.) Iowa has a few hills, but mostly flat cornfields! I left there in 1965 to go to college and only return to visit relatives now.

Hi, Paul. Enjoyed reading your profile. I am an occupational therapist. About 1/2 of my career was in psychiatry, and the other 1/2 in geriatrics. Loved working in psych, but was a single mom and had offers for more money to work in nursing homes. Did home health for about 4 years prior to moving to the mountains of NC. Excited about having the opportunity to develop a new route to support myself, as my neck went south on me (DDD and DJD from an old cervical injury in a car accident) and I had to retire early. You, Annette, and I could start our own clinic if we were still interested in being in health care! Not interested, though. Would rather just be friends on here and work our businesses. Bet there are other disgruntled medical types out there besides us in WA land. Following you.

Thank you Paul for the follow and many blessings to you here at WA. As a Premium Member you are probably aware of the AWESOME and FREE WA Keyword Tool we have unlimited access to.

This is the keyword research tool I have used exclusively after I became a Premium member 4 years ago and it has helped me many times to find awesome keywords that have led to Google page 1 rankings.

When you have the time, I created very popular WA Training Tutorials, Part 1 and Part 2, on how to use the WA Keyword Tool for keyword research. If you have not seen it and would like to learn how simple it is to use and a little about keywords, click the below link. Again, when you have the time.
