Hi. I'm trying to build my first website. I would like my niche to be about DIY backyard projects such as gardening, plants, ponds, fire pits, seating areas, play areas, etc. I
I wouldn't worry about keyword rich domains or EMDs (Exact Match Domains). It's content that ranks these days, not domain names.
I'd rather have a brand such as http://www.boohoo.com than something as limiting as http://www.buycheapdesignerwomensclothesonline.com
Your domain name doesn't even have to be relevant, if it did http://www.amazon.com would sell river trips and http://www.apple.com would sell fruit! It can even be personal, http://www.craigslist.com :)

Hi Loes
Everything you named in your post is a niche on its own. If you are ready to give a chosen website a wide publication. Any name is good if not a name that will tell people what you are doing seems to be a better one. For axample https://mypondmakesbestfish.com
I hope it helps
