Dropped in site rank
Not long ago I told you that my site had been ranked number 1 on Enter your own correction.... That ranking has now dropped to number 8. However, the same keywords has ranked number 9 on yahoo and another key word has ranked number 4 on Enter your own correction... and number 5 on yahoo.
I must admit that my heart sank a little when I saw that I had lost my number one ranking on Enter your own correction..., but I am excited that I now haw two keywords that are ranked on both Enter your own correction... and yahoo.
I can only say that you all just need to keep working and keep creating content and you will see results.
This is not a race so just work in the pace that fits your life. Allow yourself to take a day off if that is what you need because you won't get anywhere if you stress yourself.
Oh, and by the way. I have started to get some visitors to my site. Not many, but still, someone is actually reading my posts. This is just getting better and better.

I know that a lot of people are saying it, but it needs to be said as much as possible because it's true. I didn't write a single post in January because I had other things that required my attention and I didn't want to stress myself, but I have gotten results anyway.
Work hard when you can, but don't overwork yourself is probably the best advice I can give at tis point.
Google rankings have a habit of moving around. It depends on many factors going on with Google. However, seeing visitors on your site is very encouraging. Obviously you are producing some interesting and valuable content.

Hello Belinda. I know what you mean because the same thing happened to me and I was very sad.
But with time, you learn not to worry because this happens all the time and is in the nature of the algorithms. There are many websites being created everyday and many new blog posts are being written as well. That's why things change all the time.
I was once ranking very well for many keywords on the first page, and then after a few days, they disappeared. I kept writing and didn't lose heart and those that had disappeared, started creeping back up to the first page one by one.
What I learned is that as you gain authority, your older blog posts will start ranking better as time goes by. :) Keep doing what you're doing. You're on the right track.

You're still ranking on PAGE 1! Congrats. That's awesome!
I was only sad for a second, until I realized that I was now ranked on Bing and Yahoo and with two keywords. When I was ranked number 1 it was only with one keyword and only on Bing so it was actually uplifting to see that another keyword had ranked and that I now have ranking on two search engines.
It really is awesome and I will keep on doing what I am doing!
