Accomplishments and Goals
Where do I even start with a blog on this topic?
I have accomplished so much in the last 3 weeks that I never thought was possible before joining the WA community.
My top 3 accomplishments that come right to the top of my head are
1.) I built my own website that is no longer just a poured foundation. It is finally starting to look like a building with the walls constructed, drywall being hung and a roof on top of it. Now I just need to start doing all of this finish work (content) to make this a someday successful business.
2.) Some may not think this is really an accomplishment for myself. But I used to run from any kind of Language Arts or Speech classes when I was in High School and attended Community College all because of one really big reason.
I was always scared to share my work with others in the class or even let them read it because I myself didn't even think that my papers or short stories I had written were that of quality.
But since I have been here I have posted my site for feedback and let people that I don't even know at all read my content and give me constructive criticism. So I have been slowly overcoming a lifelong fear that I cannot have at all as I continue to be an online entrepreneur.
3.) And my third is all of the knowledge that I have acquired. When I first got here at WA I could rebuild you an electric motor or a small block engine but I was completely lost when I started hearing words like niche and acronyms like SEO or SSL. But with all of the training and tutorials I have a good understanding of what they mean and how they are applied to my site.
I have only been here at WA for a short period of time but after getting through the 2nd course I have learned a lot of irreplaceable knowledge and even started to overcome a little lifelong fear.
My 3 month goal isn't anything completely blown out of the water, but I'd like to make my first sale from traffic that I directed to my website. Even if it was only a $5 towel for somebody to dry their disc golf disc off with that would be a big accomplishment for me to sell a product from my own business.

Thank your for the comment. :-D I think with the way everyone around here being so helpful with each others websites and always willing to provide good constructive criticism we all have a good shot at all being very successful. My site is definitely still only a half painted picture but it wouldn't be even what it is today without this great community here at WA. Thank you again and I wish you a successful and great 2017.
Congratulations. I hope to be catching you up in the near future. It a steep learning curve but very enjoyable and addictive
It's a very steep learning curve to climb, especially for someone like myself. I have never used a computer for more than anything else other than social media and playing Oregon Trail. lol
But the addictive comment holds a lot of truth. I think that's why I have been able to accomplish so much in a short period of time. Once I get home I don't hardly set the laptop down and even my friends have been asking where I have been when I get off work.
But thank you for the comment and I hope that you have great success in 2017.

Thank you Edward. And yes WA has helped me with a couple more things than just building a website that are irreplaceable. Thank you for the comment.

Hi,
You have already come a long way. Sometimes we forget the advantages we get that are outside just creating a website. WA give us so much more.
I wish you continued development and success in 2017
