Help! Opinion on changing WA hosting to namecheap hosting
I have bought a new premium theme never knowing that it requires outgoing connection to the remote host for activation and other purposes.
Sad part is that, WA servers blocks all outgoing connections by default. So any plugin/theme that requires time to time connections to remote servers will not be allowed by WA as stated by Craig's comment in this post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/everything-wordpress/wa-does-not-allow-outgoing-connections
I had also purchased Leadpages 5 months back and the WP integration plugin feature did not work because the plugin needed outbound connections.
So both the plugin and now the theme is useless (I could bear with the plugin being disabled, but the theme is something I need and can't refund). Leadpages is something which most of the internet marketers use, no idea why WA doesn't allow that. Even the theme I purchased is a dependable theme from themeforest.
Hence I have planned to change the hosting to Namecheap.
I have 3 concerns though.
1. Will the NameCheap interface be as simple as that of WA (the creation of a new email address, sub-domain)?
2. Since the NameCheap firewall will allow outbound connections, will it lead to any problem like server shutdown or website shutdown as mentioned in the post I had linked to. Is it secure compared to WA hosting?
3. Is the website transfer process quick and also which hosting plan should I take(because I have no idea about shared hosting and other types)?
Any experience would be of great help.
Thanks a lot for your help :)

if you notice they have a number of plans, if you are worried about security then for sure you can't just take crammed shared servers and the low security they offer at the low price, you have to go for their top plan and a few hidden upsells to get anything approaching the security and private email etc at WA, it may work out more expensive and you won't have any of the extras like the training and support.
Kyle has written a number of articles on the comparison, check the search box
I'm not familiar with the outbound issues you raise, but read the small print closely at Namecheap because it is all in the upsell - read between the lines, they even say 'more secure' at the higher prices, but they NEVER give the real deets on that, likely WA is more secure as they claim to be...
Thanks for the reply. From your reply, seems like they cost a lot more. How was the user interface?
I did a comparison review with WA on the pricing and what was offered, I did not use the interface, but I researched what they were offering and all those companies hide what they are offering, in fact, unless you really know what you want, you could miss the finer details like security, email, etc.
