Farewell!
Hi everyone!
This is my official goodbye to WA due to economic difficulties. Those who gave me good tips and advice thank you very much.
My website did well and I am proud what I was able to accomplish with it. However, did not receive great help to move my site between both the previous or new host. So my site is completely gone.
Thus, I will have to start from scratch if I want a website again and blog for a living. Anyways, those who helped me in WA thank you and hope you would prosper with you website creations.
I will most likely not return to WA until economic changes are better. If anyone have tips to make a website based in South Africa that is more affordable for blogging, please let me know before I terminate my WA account.
Farewell

might be worth jumping on the groove offer at the moment of a free account...
within there you may be able to create your online business after leaving wa...
you hopefully have learnt a lot while here and can continue to learn after you leave...
just remember that not every affiliate marketer has come through wa and you can learn outside of here...
i am sad that your site has gone , but hopefully is a learning process, not to trust others with your business...take backups of everything important...
but as you have created a successful site once, you can do it again....
good luck in your future Bernard.....
to your success
phil
Hi Breyt. Why is your website lost? I don't know much about migration but backing your website up for restoring later is simple and should be done at least every quarter. Backup Your Website
Hi Lebogang22
I was able to backup my site to google drive. However, the site itself is gone now. Still have the backup files under my google drive.
I see. If you have the files, then you still have the website. But for a website to remain online, you must have hosting.
And for Wordpress with the necessary functionality, the minimum is $33 per month (or billed yearly at $300) if you get it straight from Wordpress and have to do a lot of the tinkering on your own. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
So it's going to be very difficult to find better value than what's available on WA ($359 per year of you jump in on Black Friday and go yearly) unless you maybe experiment with other CMSs that aren't Wordpress.
I wish you the best! If you found a new host that is affordable, then I recommend looking online for tutorials on how to move a wordpress website to a new host.
Like all things, it’s daunting until you’ve done it a few times. However, once you’re comfortable with it, then it’s just another skill you have in your toolbox.
