OMG (Gosh) Unbelievable my First AI Author Article Ranking in Bing & Yahoo: Google Is.?
I am so surprised. 😮 ! Fireworks for me!
I am using AI Author writing under the category of Wealthy Affiliate. I used the AI author as a pillar post promoting the WA Business Hub. There are about five more topic clusters (not yet ranking).
I wrote this on Christmas Day while people were celebrating. I wasn't celebrating. I went to work. I edited and added my experience with WA New Business Hubs and went through the steps on how I did it. I submitted it for indexing. It was indexed within a few minutes through Google Search Console, as Jay's training taught us.
This article is on page 1, position 6 in Bing and Yahoo.
Google is on page 2, position 11 (not bad). I am sure it will get up there on page 1. I know it's competitive. I did improve that article. I need to let it marinate and continue to add more to that category of promoting the WA Business Hubs.
Kyle is right when he says AI Author(s) do get indexed and ranked. I have proof of it. I took the screenshot. I want to keep all the details private because other WA members in the same niche I am promoting, Wealthy Affiliate, will copy mine (this happened to me before, so I won't do this again) to avoid copying my article. I'd instead show this part.
Yahoo is found
Bing position 3, page 1 (it won't show on the Site Rank in Jaxxy - my other article is also on Bing portion 5, page 1, which is a topic cluster article to the Business Hub.
One article above mine shows another WA member also promotes the Business Hubs, so I compete with other members doing the same thing.
Remember, it is vital to your success to think outside the box. Just because others promote the same thing I am does not mean you can't do it.
You can; you have to be unique and think differently. 😀 Got it?
That is exactly what I had to do. I had to think differently and show my unique voice. It's important to understand that your experiences will differ from those promoting the same niche. If you interject your personality and show people exactly how something works like WA, be unique and creative.
AI Author did a good job using a conversational tone. I appreciate it. I just added my views and shared my personal experience using the Business Hubs. I took a lot of screenshots and walked people through it step by step.
Now, let's see if I get referrals. I am getting clicks so far about 150 clicks. I will keep going as I know it works now! I see evidence of this! How awesome is this?

Nicely Done Brenda, I am experiencing really good results as well and others are also showing a lot of promise. The reality is that it is great content out of the box, and then you add your flavor to it, and within 15-30 minutes you can have content ready to rock in search engines. Keep us posted on your results!
Thank you for sharing. Getting indexed isn't too challenging, but achieving and maintaining a top-ranking position is much more demanding. Consistently keeping blogs on the first page is particularly tough due to the constant fluctuations in rankings. I've noticed frequent changes—sometimes my content ranks well, only to shift back and forth. It seems Google makes daily adjustments affecting these rankings.
Yes, I think so. The two other search engines are more consistent than Google. I find Google to be harder; they give ranking to content that means nothing, like social media Quora and Reddit. They think it's helpful content, but it's short, and it doesn't reflect personal experience, in my opinion. Google seems to be more hard-nosed about "helpful content." What they think is helpful content doesnt look like it. Yes, Google is the beast!

Hi Lizzy, I just started promoting WA late in November, around the same time I did with Pinterest. Before that, I wrote other articles about "making money online with affiliate marketing" using only Grammarly AI Go Beta Version and Hemingway Plus. No clicks to that, and I just let it marinate. Nothing was happening. I was still in the Google sandbox. My focus before was "money." My website domain was purchased in May of 2023. The old website from 2019-2022 was trashed. It was a review site that went nowhere. I didn't know what I was doing. No training, no closed captioning, I couldn't hear the videos. That was hard.

As Partha and Diane stated, do not be too salesy. I came from a "sales background." I am so used to "selling." I didn't put value in my personal experiences. That was my mistake.
Partha set me straight with his blogs. I changed my stance in late October and November. I wasn't focused on using social media due to my inner loathe for it. The Scorpion Rock Queen is the one that helped me get started with Pinterest.
I had many poorly written articles that I deleted. Partha stated not to do that. I did it anyway because it had no indexing and no Google Love. It sat there I did nothing. I lost my confidence. The ones I removed were sales articles. They looked like ads.
I had several posts (before using AI Author) that Google refused to index. It was too long, so I reduced and cut a lot out and added more of my experience. What I did was focus more on understanding Google's E.E.A.T and researching how to write using my personal experience rather than focusing on "sales." Those salesy articles have been revised to reflect my personal experiences.
Taking the plus expert classes helps, and Jay's classes help. I started using Entity SEO on all my other articles. That first one with a pillar post using AI Author also has Entity SEO. Did that boost it up? One thing I did learn is that personal experience is what counts, not sales. Let my personal experience do the selling. I knew that, but I was stubborn, insisting on being salesy. Well, that didn't work. I realized.

That is the point I learned "less salesy"—a hard lesson. At least I am honest about it. I have seen so many marketers lie and refuse to admit their failures. We all have gone through that. That is what makes us human. 😀
for sure, after one of Partha's blog posts showed me in March last year that it was all right to delete salesy roundup reviews, in my case. They weren't ranking at all, well some of those yes I kept, because they do great on Amazon products lol. Then, my traffic through the year went up again (I came from 30K to under 10K)
But then I got hit again in September -october and I sure let everyone know here every darn time haha! (I see no reason why not to do that, why not be honest?)
Not sure what to do now myself now with my miniature site. SEO traffic is still low, but Pinterest is sure going up and even Facebook. So I'll go on with a weekly post on it (besides my personal product reviews and my family likes it , because they get the presents lol), and not sell the site.
I still need to kind of write those myself, AI can't really go as well into detail as I can. But it sure saves some time on headings, ideas and introductions, etc.
My Africa site isn't going up at the moment, even though I'm getting lots of bird articles out there with AI, but that's highly competitive I assume.
I was like you when I first started, but directions weren't that clear at the start back then, I made too many roundup reviews as well and kind of didn't listen to the pros who were here back then. I hope Partha comes back, besides Diana and some teachers, I learn the most from them.
Partha does owe a long overdue WA blog post.
His post from "Hidden Gems" words was,

I have been waiting to hear from him since. He said he would disappear in three to four weeks; he better be back soon. He owes us this promise!
I would understand if he doesn't come back and leave WA. There are limits to anyone's mental health (while just being critical about something specific). He doesn't owe us anything. I would be sad to see him go as well. He is one of the people who keeps me here, and especially premium plus. The pp classes aren't worth it for me anymore, to be honest.
Me too! Now I know I need to keep going and going, maybe be the energizer bunny this time not the roadrunner or coyote (I dont want to TNT myself -LOL) 😂

That's great news, Brenda. I aspire to do what you've done eventually though traffic is only just beginning for me.
I've also used AI and got 1 post ranked with Google. And I agree, we are all absolutely unique so every promotion of the same product/service can be excitingly different. For me that's the point - our content illuminates our true spirit and AI can enhance that if we check it carefully before publishing. The Internet future is so bright with this kind of diversity and variety.

Hi Linda, yes please do. Every training they provide is worth it. It is fantastic that you got on page 1 of Google. Yes, we have to edit and use our unique voice. I wrote about my personal experiences, which I am sure helped! Now I am on page 1, 8th position for that same article I did on Christmas Day. I will write more articles on topic clusters this weekend for that pillar post.

But you've been at Medium for a while. I read your articles there. Sorry, Lindi, I know why my Grammarly auto-corrects when I type Lindi; it will type Linda. I have to go back to correct it to an I, not a . Liden and Linda are names that are two worlds apart, as you say. I love your Medium articles. I need to get my butt kicked to write on that platform. I need to work on getting some articles written on Medium. I don't want to copy my content from my website, so I have to write differently to link back to my website.
