Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I promise I won't wreck my website.

You're starting to drift over to the dark side with that kind of thinking, young Skywalker. Don't try to mess with Google. If they catch you trying to game them, they'll make you invisible faster than you can say, "Where did my website go?"

Let the force be with you.

It is the overall content of the page and your website that matters for ranking.

The affiliate link within content is not indexed or ranked by Google.

As long as that page also has content that helps visitors to make an informed decision, there is no need to hide it from search engines, even if it is a sales page.

You could tick the 'no-index' and 'no-follow' boxes under the post or page in the SEO settings, but I would think twice about the reasons for doing that. Having too many no-index, no follow pages or posts can also negatively affect ranking.

A better way to proceed is to have a good balance of linked and non-linked value-added content.

Create some posts and pages that have no outgoing links and only have internal links within your site. For example, you can link from other posts or pages to your sales page. Internal links are good for ranking. ~Jude

Google doesn't mind about affiliate links so long as the content is good. If you've got thin content and lots of links then that's bad.

Not sure why having lots of affiliate links on one page is good. Buyers don't want to be confused. Keep your sales page about one specific thing. More affiliate links on a page doesn't mean more sales.

Look at the top sites in your niche. See what they are doing.

Would this work as an affiliate link trick for google?

I just looked at you site. It doesn't appear to be all that inundated with links. I think you have enough relevant content to justify the links that I see. But one thing that may work against you - Your home page looks like a store. Google doesn't like a "store only" website. There's got to be some content on your home page that is more welcoming to your visitor and contain relevant keywords. Don't overdo it on the keywords, either. That's considered spam, too.

The first paragraph on your About page should be on your Home page. You should welcome your visitors and introduce yourself right away. Then write about what to expect to find on your site, how to navigate the articles. Explain why your visitors should buy from you. Let them know you are THE go-to guy on the subject of mobile audio.

Your ABOUT page should be about YOU. How and why you got into audio since you were a little kid and you first noticed the difference in amplifiers and speakers when your friend's dad drove you to the movies in his car that he had just installed this insane new system. How you were hooked from that moment on and made it your mission to tell everyone in the world about how great audio can and ought to be. Make your visitors like you and want to give you their business. There are thousands of afilliate stores out there. Make them want to come to YOU.

Please remove most of the links. Google will crawl your site back later.

Add more contents that are beneficial. Google loves them.
Add a sitemap to Google.
Add authorship.

I have a ton of items in my astore and it would be nice if each page showed more than 6 products at a time. Is there any way I can extend this?

I think that would be a question for Amazon... I have an astore also, but haven't really tried to change it beyond what Amazon provides...

Can I extend my amazon astore to view more than 6 at a time?
