Made it to the Finish Line

To say that its been a crazy last six weeks is an understatement, but somehow amongst it all, I managed to complete the five part training.

I'm sure many of you can relate to the life altering events that have been taking place of being laid off from work, and forced to stay home for the betterment of every ones health.

One would think, that having all of this extra time at home would allow much more time for website developing and furthering education in affiliate marketing. That is not exactly the case if you live on a farm with projects that have been piling up for over a year.

My husband and I have been busy setting up raised garden beds, as well as starting many row crops. This is our first year officially growing anything to this caliber, so there have been many learning curves along the way, coupled with us scratching our heads, starring at a bare ground (where we just planted our seeds), hoping that all of our hard work will start to show a little sprig of life soon.

This growing season has made me gain a whole new respect for farmers. For planting is completely dependent on what the weather decides to do. Words can't even describe all the hard work that goes into prepping the ground and soil to even be able to plant your seeds (if the weather is favorable).

Then, once you have completed all the prepping and planting, you then have to wait, and wait, and then wait for what seems like eons at times, praying for rain all the time so that you don't have to make a hundred back and forth trips with the watering can to keep the seeds moist.

But once that little bud decides to pop up, giving you that glimmer of hope that all the hard work and patient waiting, is beginning to pay off. Bringing forth a harvest that you can keep on generating from season to season.

It hit me, that developing a website and affiliate platform, are greatly comparable to what I just experienced in this growing season. For so much time, hard work, and dedication go into developing a website when you are first starting out.

For some, you may be staying up late at night to write your blog posts, because it's the only time of day when you can find peace and quiet within your household (I'm right there with you, if that is you reading this right now).

Most will go months of pushing themselves and dedicating long hours to educating themselves, and growing their website, without a single sale to show for it. I know at this point, many would put themselves down and consider that they don't have what it takes to be successful in affiliate marketing. Feeling like its been a waste of time, and preparing to throw in the towel.

But I have to encourage you to not give up! To dig deep, and remember the dream that drove you into affiliate marketing to begin with.

If something didn't work, then try a new method.

Just imagine, if every farmer decided to give up because his first crop was a flop, then where would our food come from?

All we can do, is continue to move forward towards our goals, trying new methods along the way if we must, but never taking our eyes off of the prize. For the harvest is what we all strive for, and the harvest will surely come, as long as we never give up.

Thank you for an inspiring and well written blogpost. It is most welcome inspiration and motivation booster at the moment, being back at work the last two weeks and trying to balance my day job, which encompass a lot of overtime work, with the training and developement of my website here at WA as well as taking care of my family.

I recognise ver well what you write about long nights writing content, doing research, following the training at WA.
My wife has a couple of times asked me if i am nuts 😄. But she has started to understand the potential in what i am doing right now and has begun to involve herself a little bit👍🏼.

Good luck with your farming and hope that your crops will be plentiful.

kind regards,
Roy

A Great Analogy, Awesome New Profile picture and great description of you and your husband's tireless efforts prepping the ground! Congrats on completing the training and stay safe! Have a successful week, Brandy!

Jeff

Thank you Jeff! You and your family stay safe too!

We will do our best to, Brandy!😜

Brilliant, happy for you!
I wish you all the best with your crops!
Clare,

Thank you so much Clare!

well done!
you rock!
keep up with the good work

Thanks Pedrone!

Welcome!

BPanzer that was very very well put what a wonderful blog, I really enjoyed your comparison between our efforts with the websites and the efforts of the hard work of a farmer. What we sow here at WA is what we will reap on our websites.

Joe

Thats right Joe! We will always reap what we sow, which is why we must never sow sparingly, but give it all that we have.
I'm glad to read that you enjoyed reading my blog, and wish you much success on your journey!
