my payment missed because my card was updated. I've since updated my payment information but it has not taken a payment. What do I need to do to make up for the missed payment?

Hi I believe they request payment two or three times before your subscription ends however

You may write to Billing

https://wealthyaffiliate.com/contact

Also check your last invoice when expiry ends.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

And I believe you can update your payment options.

Ok so I'm learning to craete product reviews to link affiliate products rather than link them directly to our blog posts so that our blog posts don't appear to spammy.

B

The blog posts I write are for information purposes about a medical condition. When I write about a product it contains all information about it and how it relates to the medical condition.
My review is linked to the information post.

I try to avoid writing anything spammy. My product reviews are either about things I have used myself and I can write about them or about things where I have read or heard what other people's experiences were. For instance, I did on about plastic vs metal gas cans, based mainly on my husband's thoughts.

Regarding your last paragraph, no, I wouldn't say that putting spammy anything on your website is a good idea.

Perfect :)

You product / service reviews should not be spammy, ideally you should have tried the product / service you're promoting or know some who did and can give readers true, detailed and concise info to help them make an informed decision. You blog post and review are there to do that task, because no one likes to be sold vs added readership value. Hope this makes sense.

But why do I need product reviews? Why can't I just write non spammy blog posts with affiliate links in them?

Increased chances getting a conversion, as reader would have learned about the product before purchasing. They want to hear / read testimonials from a third party

Hi - your visitors want to know why you are recommending a particular product and suggesting they click on your link to buy it. Is it value for money, easy to use, why is it better than other similar products, will it solve their problem, make their life easier? They want your personal opinion.

You don't have to write product reviews. That is just part of the training here at WA. I don't. I have a Gift Finder website. I have maybe 2 reviews where I thought it was important to have one.

So I've watched the training video three times now. Although it is slightly different than what I am seeing in analytics I seem to be following it quite easily. However it is n

Hi Jenny-lee I just sent you a PM as I was not able to add some of the URL's here. I hope you will find them helpful.

Best wishes,
Michael

You should be adding Analytics to your All In One SEO. I just added some yesterday and it worked fine. You can also link your Google Console with your Analytics in the dashboard of Analytics, it will show both. Make sure the Analytics code being added to your All In One SEO is not being added where the code box for Google Console exists. Analytics box is further down the page under Console code box. Kyles training here may help you.

Thanks but I've watched the video 3 times and followed all those steps to a t. Friends are telling me to plug in monster but I want to follow kyle's training perfectly.

You can look into other forms of training and still keep in step here. It never hurts especially when the help is coming from a platform you're using like Wordpress. This support is from Wordpress and it might help you with Analytics. Hope it helps you out. https://wordpress.com/support/google-analytics/

Thank you, I'll keep messing with it.

After adding the UA code to All in One SEO, have you cleared the Server Cache (Websites -> SiteManager -> Details -> SitePlus+ Clear Cache) and then visited your website while logged out of WordPress and looked at the Real-Time traffic in Google Analytics?

I followed those steps and it is still showing zero visitors. I've even tried switching from http to https. I can't imagine what step I'm missing. I saw someone post that they couldn't get data from a windows and had to switch to mac. Is that even a possiblity?

Have you checked your source code that the UA number appears correctly? If you log out of WordPress and visit your homepage, then right-click and View Source, then search for UA- you should find your number. And no, Windows to Mac makes no difference.

And that I make money (or try to) buy promoting products on my site?

You do yes, this training from Marion should help you

Depends. If you are indeed trying to make money by promoting products then yes, you'll need to disclose that fact to your readers.

Yes, every blogger does. A sample disclosure statement is available in your site content templates.

Do I have to disclose that i'm an affiliate?

I JUST built a new website. Like all I did was built it. And googled it and I was blocked because it is considered a high risk website. So I deleted it, and tried another theme

Hi - have you activated your SSL Certificate?

thank you. This is my 3rd website now and I don't remember what step that is. I'll have to revisit some training. But thank you!

Click on the link I have added, it tells you what to do.

Thank you. But I am confused. This is my 4th site and the previous 3 did not make me do this. All I did was build it. I don't plan on taking personal information or credit cards.

Hi - in general, this step is done for you by the system. It's only occasionally you need to do this yourself. It is nothing to do with taking payments etc. It simply shows visitors that your site is secure. You won't get highly ranked in Google without it.

Why are you building so many websites? Do you keep deleting them again and starting again? Or do you intend actually running 4 websites? That would be very ambitious at this early stage. Trying to add high-quality content to just one site, 2 or 3 times per week, can be time-consuming in itself.

Monetizing a website was not my goal when I joined WA, learning wordpress was. The affiliate program is a bonus. I'm a teacher with A LOT of free time on my hands right now so I've been able to devote my entire day to this learning. I also have hundreds of articles that I've already written for these niches so it's just a matter of revision and uploading. I've been one of those "struggling writers" for a long time selling my work for a lot less than it's worth and I suddenly realized I was selling to people building websites. I decided to get in on the game. Thank you so much for your time and your help :)
