I live in a state in which Amazon doesn't allow its occupants to join Amazon's Associate Program. I found a way around it though! It worked for me, and it just might work for y
Are you kidding me. I had a lot more content than that. I explained what I did and how it could work for you. Then I directed those who couldn't do what I did to the post you made. Agh man. Looks like I'm going to be re-writing...
Sorry Jessi just almost woke up. At the top of the post under the title on the Left (duh) side you will see the blue box with the gear. Sorry!

Amazon is saying I cannot become an Associate because I live in Louisiana... Why? Is there anything I can do about it? Any advice
My Alternative! I found a way around it.
How? Extended family! If you have any friends or family that live in a state where becoming an Amazon Associate is allowed, then you might want to consider asking if you can use their address for your account.
Don't worry. According to Amazon, the sole purpose of getting your address is to make sure you are not in one of these states:
- Arkansas
- Louisiana
- Maine
- Missouri
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
I personally talked with them, and was assured that no mail would be sent to my account's address.
If you don't have any friends or family that can do this, and you can't seem to find any way around it, there are other alternatives for you!

I live in La also, I haven't done it yet but I'm seriously considering asking an out of state relative to use their address since payments are electronic. If someone sends you a better idea please forward it to me.
Thanks
Will do. Just in case your wondering what mail your relatives would receive, I called Amazon directly, and they told me that they do not send any mail to your address. That the sole purpose of your address is to make sure you in a State that won't charge you taxes.
I saw this online hope this answers your question
Amazon is ending its affiliate program in Louisiana after legislators passed a law allowing the state to tax businesses without a physical presence there — the latest stand-off in the company’s long-running, state-by-state battle over Internet sales taxes.

Oh fun. I don't blame them then! ;) Guess I'll have to find away to work around it then. Thanks!
Jessi it is due to state taxes.

If you can't understand why nothing is changing, make sure you press the save changes botton. It'll save you a lot of time!

My question is this: Does each post on your website have its own title, or do they all share the same title as the head title of the website
Each post you create will have its own unique title, same goes with pages. The head title will automatically precede the post or page title and will always be the same. So it'll look like: "[head title] - [unique post or page title]".

I understand that when you are starting out you are not going to be making a significant amount of money right away, but will I, or should I say, can I make enough mon
If you get in the right niche and focus on promoting somthing very small and obscure and trending rather than promoting Wealthy affiliate in the Iternet marketing niche, you could have the site up and making money in 2 months realistically to pay for Wealthy Affiliate but 2 weeks would be pretty hard to get but nothing is impossible.
Telling time limits is just an estimate, as it just depends on what content you write and how many people like and share it to make it more popular and how ofter you post. Plus Google likes to keep you guessing. You want to really focus on just getting things set up in the first 2 weeks.
If you get through the course and set up a very tight small niche you could possibly get sale in first two weeks but it would be a very agressive goal. It can be hard with SEO to do anything really fast and getting on Googles side can take time if you want to do all organic free traffic.
If It's not fast enough you can always do Paid traffic which can work instantly but then that usually comes after figuring out free traffic. So really depends on where your at now and what your skill level is with ranking sites with SEO. If you're a complete beginnner to writing, SEO and websites it will take longer than a week or two.
You want to look at building a site like a plant that you just water and tend to as much as you can daily and slowly watch it grow organically. If that is too slow there is always paid methods but then they cost money. If you spend money before you make money it can get a little tough in the beginning.
I hope this helps and if it didn't answer your question please let me know and I can clarify on anything else.
That's a great way of putting it Brandon. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thank you for your time!
I doubt it. This is more like a marathon. The fastest way to make money is by picking an awesome niche and finding great keywords and spending a lot of time writing content and implementing what you learn here.
I didn't make money until 3 months. But my niche is competitive. If you type in success stories in the top search bar, you can read some of their results.
Okay cool. Thanks for your input. I'm just trying to figure out what to expect out of this, so I can mentally prepare myself for the road ahead. That's what I needed to know! I'll definitely check out the success stories. Thanks again!
