You are absolutely right
A game changer!

Thanks for the Q&A
Fleeky

You’re welcome Fleeky. The AI content creation really makes it easier.

And faster 🦾🏆

I feel the AI destroys what I write I believe we should be able to get back what we wrote. I feel the system is anything but user friendly.

Good morning Doctor J,

I couldn't agree with you more, Doctor J, it's almost like a lazy man's content. I used to read and reply to many of the top 10 blog posts on Wealthy Affiliate, but now the majority of posts are just AI garbage.

The idea of blogging on Wealthy Affiliate is to share our progress, struggles and wins, etc, it used to be brilliant. AI cannot do this like a human can. I hope that this AI content on Wealthy Affiliate stops soon.

Please don't get me wrong, AI can be a huge help, but is not right just creating garbage AI content, it lowers the tone of the platform.

Have a great day.

Roy

I don't find it exactly user friendly either. It keeps repeating itself with good-sounding platitudes that nobody would have the patience to read and I would feel embarrassed to publish.

You need to somehow fish out the gold nuggets and re-write the whole thing. I chop out whole paragraphs and give, what's left, with my own additions, to Copilot or ChatGPT to make it into an article that I can then edit just a little bit to make it my own.

I stop reading too as soon as I see that it's been AI generated. There are lots of giveaway clues and if the poster can't even be bothered to take those away (like faint lines for page breaks), I don't bother to read any more, let alone 'Like' and reply.

Good morning Isabella,

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my comments, it's appreciated.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can see AI generated content! I'm amazed how many people reply with things like great and helpful post and some members even use AI to reply and then the author will use AI to reply! I'm lost for words! The idea of blogging is to document our journey and for it to be based on a genuine experience.

Like you, Isabella, I ignore, as it only takes a few words to realise its AI content.

Have a fantastic Sunday.

Roy

In my opinion, AI is a double edged sword. If you use it to write your content and you don’t edit it, then it will ruin what you write.

However if you use AI to create some of your content, as in having AI write the technical aspects, then you write and edit the rest. It’s a definite time saver.

Seeing how the system allows for the writer to choose what kind (technical or conversational) content it is to write and then allows you to edit it at any time, I consider that user friendly.

I personally am not a fan of AI generated content. All of my 450+ blog post on WA, with the exception of this one post, have all been written 100% by me.

However the AI generated content here, whether you choose it to be technical or conversational, can make it easier for beginners to learn structure and content flow.

My recommendation for using AI content would be to use it for researching a specific niche and then incorporate that information into the blog you are writing.

Another thing that rubs me the wrong way about AI is that it will not always give accurate information. AI works off of the content already on the internet. If the information on the internet is wrong or misleading, most times AI will repeat it.

AI generated content should be used sparingly and mixed in seamlessly into content you are writing. This post is the only blog out of 450+ I’ve written on WA that didn’t have content generated by me.

Personally for me, I will only be using AI for content on the researching of products associated with my niche. I would never expect AI to know more about my niche than I. Plus AI is not always correct with the information it provides.

Good morning Rob,

Thank you for your comments, it's appreciated.

I agree with you, Rob, AI has many uses and it can certainly be great for brainstorming and helping with ideas, etc, when it comes to blog writing.

I must admit that I wasn't a fan of AI when it first became available to the public. However, through going through the Wealthy Affiliate training on the subject helped me understand the benefits.

I used to look at the top 10 blog posts regularly on Wealthy Affiliate and respond to a few of the posts. However, I am finding that more and more posts are AI generated content, rather than personal experience of growing a web business. Hence, there is nothing to comment about!

Like you, Rob, I am aware that we have to be very careful of the information that AI produces, ChatGPT warns about that! However, many times I will ask ChatGPT a question and it gets it wrong. When I tell it that it's made a mistake, it then apologises, but that's not quite the point!!

When I'm looking for information, I want to make sure that it's accurate and not full of AI fluff. It's a much better when something is based on personal experience, which AI just can't create.

I'm seeing people asking for comments on their website, the content is created with AI, the comments are AI and the website owner replies to the comments with AI!! Now that's not clever.

Have a great day and thank you for the interesting info.

Roy
