I designated another page as my front page and my blog page became a menu item. As it now stands, the blog page is the only page that accepts comments. I want to accept them on
Go the the quick edit link under pages in your website admin area, and then put a check mark in the box for comments. It will then add the comment box on your pages. For blog posts the box is checked automatically.
I still couldn't get comments at the bottom of my pages - not even the blog page.
I had to change my theme then everything worked, but only after I checked the boxes for comments for each page like you said.
I was using the "cleanr" theme. Stay away from that one.
Thanks again.

How do I put a comment box on every page of my website?

Above my comment boxes on each page it says "Leave a Reply". I would like to change that but can't find where to do it. I'll change the page.php or whatever .php file if I have to and if I can figure out how to ftp those files back and forth. Thanks for any help!

Really, how much harder would it be to get killerkeyword.xyz to the 1st page of Google vs doing the same for killerkeyword.com?
If killerkeyword.com is on the first page, high in the SERPs, killerkeyword.xyz will have to work much much harder. But if killerkeyword.com is a slacker, then yeah, killerkeyword.xyz could overtake them. In other words, you're starting at a disadvantage, so you have to work smarter, be better.
Just an opinion...

For some extensions it can be crazy hard. For example how many .info sites have you seen ranked on the first page of Google?
Plus a .com holds more authority in the online world. It is the best of the best when it comes to TLD domains (top level domain)

How much more work is it to get anydomain.xyz to the 1st page of Google vs doing the same for anydomain.com? Or is it nearly impossible?
TLD are still recommended, in particular com, so I would rather try to find something, it is doable. Not everything is taken.
How to choose a tdl when the best ones are already taken?
