Hi Bob, unfortunately it's not possible to download the videos. Another member asked a similar question. Kyle (co-founder) response was "You cannot download the training videos here." Is it possible to download the training videos?

I'm really confused: just today I followed an interesting article on backlinking, right here on WA. Yet, now I see that it is not appropriate! I'm confused as to what guideline
I am not sure which article you are referring to but I will share what I know on the subject.
The only backlinking I worry about is social shares that link back to my site.
Any other backlinks that come natural are fine but the days of buying or searching out backlinks are over.
Google no longer counts them in ranking and actually could penalize a site that is backlink loaded.
I do link to authority sites like Wikipedia and the likes for several reasons, but that is getting off-topic here.

The article from Stephen Zero on How To Obtain Relevant Backlinks - Part 1 - Article Submission…it even suggests going through Article Marketer/Distributeyourarticles.com…So, to make sure I understand…using Article Marketer to generate back links into my site is no longer helpful for improving page ranking? My aim is to improve my ranking with every means possible, without getting penalized. Sorry if I'm a little thick headed here but both articles Kyle's and Stephen seem to contradict..thanks again.
As I understand it the article directory backlinks are not looked at anymore when ranking, nor are many others BUT social backlinks are still golden.
The article directories are still valuable for targeted traffic and there are a few really good article sites out there yet.
The article sites are also good for new sites to help get them going, but the rule of thumb now is to spend your time working on your sites content, not content for other sites.
I would never buy any backlinks under any circumstances, and you can actually get slapped in ranking for trying to load your site with them.
