Time Sure Flies When You're Having Fun!

Hi to all my WA friends!
This is a short and sweet note to share with all of you that I have passed my three-year mark here at Wealthy Affiliate.
I checked into the platform earlier and received my 3 Year Badge.
I can't believe it's been 3 years already.
I know many of you have been here way longer than me, but I feel proud to have gotten to this juncture.
I remember when I first joined, I was on fire going through the training, creating one website and then another, writing my own training lessons, writing one eBook and then another, getting my poetry book published and then this past year passed so quickly, and it seemed like the fire went out in me after my mother passed away.
I have to say, it is very easy for that fire to be snuffed out by a significant life event.
In the beginning, you could find me staying up all night long going through the training and building my websites. Now those websites are working for me exactly the way I want them too, so no need to stay up all night long anymore.
I'll be writing and publishing more articles for both websites shortly, and going back through all the previous articles to add freshness to them.
My freelance business hasn't really taken off yet, with having only a few clients, but I'm working on attracting local businesses who can use my skills.
Three years at Wealthy Affiliate has really changed me in a lot of ways. I am so grateful to everyone in the community who have helped me along the way.
I never believed that at my age, I could or wanted to learn new skills, but the WA platform proved me wrong. Along with all the friends I have made here, I would have to say that WA has been a blessing for me.
All the best to everyone and thank you all for taking this ride with me for the past 3 years.

Good to hear from you, Barbara. Yes, it is pretty amazing how fast the time can pass in here.
Sounds like you accomplished a lot, and now you are back and might just accomplish even more. I know how certain life events can really slow you down. It's sometimes hard to pick up and start moving again. However, we might as well move forward...no sense in going backward...and who knows what new adventure may capture us.

Hi Barbara, I understood your grieving period and how the fire got snuffed out of you. I went through that when I lost my late husband 6 years ago. The first 3 years were rough. I had a bunch of health issues and most of my time creating art and crafts. That seemed to help me.
By 2019, I joined WA, and I believe coming January 2023 will be 4 years. Even though, I’ve been active on and off within the WA platform. I still faced health issues with my MS that’s mostly in my spine. The struggle to get my site going was tough. I canceled that site and now I am starting over the right way following the training and ParthaB’s keyword strategy for informational posts.
I’m so glad you are back with us and are moving forward with building your website and your freelance business. You were missed. I know I did miss your updated blogs on the WA platform.

I suffer from health issues as well and I know how everything all wrapped together is so frustrating that you tend to not want to do things and not because you're not interested any longer but you just don't have the energy. I know because that's how I felt this entire year.
