A Word Of Advice!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know, never REFRESH your pc!! OMG, I thought I was doing the right thing, and I lost everything, thank god not my photos.
$300.00 Later, for the computer guy, I wiped Microsoft completely, and entire emailing system, and more. I was devastated, BUT a day later I realized that out of all this I realized that this is all a lesson for the future.
I finally have it back, with over 600 emails to go through, and realized I had made in that time 13 sales!!!! So there you go, the break did me good and back into it again :)

I couldnt believe it, LOL, then I locked my phone the next day, grrr!! Must of just been the week for it.
So ... what I've learned from your experience is that anytime something goes crazy with my system, I'll log on WA from somewhere else and ask IZPOPhoenix what to do. :-) Am really glad things are back to normal for you and hey ... at least the $300 is tax deductible. God Bless!

This is a little sad. the IT industry is becoming much like the used car industry. Taking advantage of novices like you who have s no idea how much they don't know. we try to add credibility everything we do.. you had no idea emails were stacked up on the server until retrieved... But your technician did. You had no idea that a restore point was created right before you did your refresh automatically. therefore all you had to do was a system restore and all of your stuf would've been back. I hate to see people taken advantage of. an unnecessary $300 is a bit of a lesson.
Hi, yes I was a little sad and you are right, god knows how many others would have no idea you can restore..oh well I guess I know to never press that button again, LOL
I'm very new to Windows 8 and I almost went for that "refresh" link! It's a good thing I researched what it is and what it does!
I'm waiting for Windows 10. It's supposed to be more like the classic Windows. I hate the "library" system they have on there and now the stupid tile start pages! It's getting harder and harder to get things back to older platforms but it still can be done.
Windows 10 is very different from any version of Windows that has come before it. the problem with Windows 8 was simply the interface. people resist change. windows 8 even outperformed windows 7.the version of Windows 10 that I and most of my employees are running is the one without the new Spartan browser. there are some glitches but that's to be expected. windows 10 is the most ambitious operating system attempt that has ever been made. it is in effect an attack on Google and Apple for market share. windows 10 is not the end, it is actually a trap for the future of Microsoft. there is even talk of an open source windows. this would put an end to Linux.... I am talking into my phone and Android 5 does not always capitalize the first word in a sentence..
