Spam is a no-no
SPAM is a No-No https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... It is a good idea to review these rules regularly.
I see more and more people pushing the envelope, bending the rules or outright blatantly ignoring them.
We don't want WA to deteriorate into a SPAM site. We are all here because WA is a SPAM free site where we can discuss ways to make money on line.
When I read a blog post at WA that interests me I assume the author has more
detailed information on his/her blog. I go to their profile, click on
their website and check it out. There is no need for me to have a link
to my website in my WA blog and having an external link to my website is
clearly against the rules.
I think members are going to start being more active in reporting rule violations. Most rule violations are by people who are well intentioned or who may have not read the
rules. A polite PM is usually all it takes. However, when someone who
has been around for a while violates the rules, they should know better.
People in the top 200 and better are our leaders. When they violate the
rules others think they can do the same. I'm a whole lot less tolerant
of rule violators amongst our leaders.

Always have to watch out for it Bill. One that's easy to get caught on is telling about something you like so much you start promoting it!
Thanks for the post Bill. This is something that needs to be remembered. I have been guilty at times, but I have always gone back and re-written the post or took it down altogether. Sometimes we do make mistakes.

That is why I am reluctant to report violations. I hope K&C use judgement when acting on a violation.
Thanks everyone. We all have to work to be sure WA remain the greatest place for learning on the net.
Thanks, I was nicely nudged on day 3 I believe bu verified on day 59 when I observed this going on. Thanks again, Jay
If your profile doesn't include your URLs and SM handles you are missing out on one of the great benefits of WA.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for an excellent reminder to all of us, especially those who have been around a while, on spam.
We certainly don't want WA to be a spam site.
Although you may feel a little reserved, about reporting someone spamming, one should evaluate the situation and length of tenure here at WA and what is written, if it is pretty clear that it is spam, please report it.
