Do I Have To Upgrade To Premium To Make Money?
Well, yes, and no......
Hard to say, but my thoughts are this. You can drive a car without being trained, but you can drive better with a good safety course, and maybe stay alive.
In my own experience, I have spent many years in online marketing with little success. I would have gladly paid someone to teach me. Here at Wealthy Affiliates you have training par excellance, and thousands of people from which to draw both knowledge and support.
In a couple of months here I am seeing it work for me. As for going premium I know two things....
1. Money is a great indicator. Usually people take free things for granted.
2. I upgraded 5 minutes after joining for free. I saw the good here and knew if I commit $$$ to it, it would result in my spending more time and viewing WA as a thing of value.
So..... Yes and no. But, yes if you spend a short amount of time seeing what WA has to offer, a resounding YES! When you complete the course material here you will be an expert. And experts usually do well in their field of expertise.

I too upgraded the same week I tried out the free WA. I was convinced that the way to go was Premium if I wanted to make money. There was more training and more interaction with Kyle and Carson and others. So I went ahead and took the plunge, Haven't regretted it at all. Have been very pleased.
I know for some members it must be hard to pay premium membership but there are great perks if you pay monthly or yearly. Hopefully you will be in that position soon
It was hard for me living on the ole "fixed income," but I am serious about this program. An old pastor friend of mine said you can tell a man's heart by looking at his check book.....
You upgraded faster than me, but it only took me a few days - until my next check came in, lol.
It becomes instantly clear, to anyone with some semblance of business acumen, that the Premium fees are far outweighed by the total package's value.
And nobody takes a website seriously that doesn't have its own unique, one-of-a-kind url, without a prefix to it.
No you can make a small amount in the free account and still learn but after 7 days your ability to ask questions is lost And a lot more in premium and your ability to post questions and have them answered
Though it is very much possible to make money here as a free member in the WA referral program, and no you do not have to be in the Boot Camp training to participate, spending money will definitely help you to make more. Like the saying goes, "you have to spend money to make money."
I think what we got here for this price, it is absolutely worth it:) If I am really lazy person still thinking about what to write and how better to save my time, believe it is some infectious here.
I agree completely- never easy to pay- especially when there is so much worthless and outdated stuff out there that try to up sell you constantly. Quickly their all inclusive methods/program/ tools/systems need some other stuff to REALLY be successful - been there a few times - many times you haven't even gotten to download the product yet and you are being up-sold at checkout! After being around a short while - you see the value. The only really things you need to purchase if you are serious eventually is a domain name and also consider a tool like Jaaxy for even a month or two while you dig deeper into your niche - but that is neither pushed or required. Agree with you wholeheartedly.
It's a given. The benefits are so much more as a premium member, especially when you're paying only $1.03 a day as a yearly member. That's about 5 times more than what some people spend for coffee at Starbucks every day.

Since I was making money before WA, I must say going Premium is not a factor... BUT I did pay at Robert Allen to learn how to make money, and what to use to do it. What I see at WA is slowly building a presence online. There is training here like everywhere else. I think this will benefit me. I do not expect to earn money immediately. But when I think of the little stuff, Kyle is 100% responsible for a $200 per month increase in my income because if not for WA I would have moved in a different Area...
