Hi dear WA fellows!

I've reached lesson about Niches, So here is my very first question.

Before jumping to my question I'll explain a bit what I'm able to underst

It's such a relief, to have supportive and an amazing family online, Thank you Guys :)

I go for a narrow niche, better conversion.

Going too broad does give you a LOT of stuff to talk about, but again, you have to deal with a lot of stuff to do this.

The narrower niche is where you can focus and Affiliate Marketing IS focus!

Thanks, Mickey!

I went through more articles on the subject and now I also feel that narrowing down to a compact niche is better than the broad group. Especially for startups, as management decisions are easier that way. So now I'm discovering all the niches possible.

Cheers!

No matter what the broad niche is, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of smaller, narrower ones.

I'm pretty new to WA but I feel starting with a narrow niche is easier because you have a better chance of finding key words to help you with your content. Like some others said you can always broaden your niche if you need to. I hope this helps you. Best of luck!!

Thanks, dear Nan

I agree. I was having a bit of hard time deciding but after going through a little more of research it seems a compact niche will be a great way to start!

Regards,
Bibi

Good luck!!

Thanks, Nan :)

Hey Bibi

What type of gadgets? I just did a google search and I got

Gadgets for babies
Gadgets for Men
Gadgets for anxiety
Gadgets for autism
Gadgets for college students ect..

I wrote a post that I think might help you here

Use this as a guide it might give you some ideas..

hope this helps..

Actually, I'm not sure about it right now. Maybe I'll pick 3 or 4 related sub niches as a target. I forgot where I read, but some one was telling about wearable gadgets. I feel this niche will be pretty hot in future.

I visited your provided link, had great new ideas. Thanks for the help Bruce.

Cheers!

good post

Thanks Abdul, Cheers!

Sure there are pros and cons of each approach. It's easier to create content for broader niches.
But if you have some certain product(s) in mind and a group of customers to promote them to, you may want to start there, and then expand to a broader niche. Just think of some kind of a more neutral domain(not exact match one)

Hi, Vera, Your point about targeted audience is pretty valid, I Agree. Thanks for the idea. I'm yet to decide, wish me luck.

Regards

The best of luck to you!:)

:)

You can start with a narrow niche and then expand outwards, just use a branded domain, instead of a keyword rich or exact match one. :)

Hi, Rich. Thanks buddy for the short but patent advice. I was thinking of the same direction but was confused. Asking the question helped to decide. Cheers, :)

No probs. you're most welcome!

I wouldn't worry about keyword rich domains or EMDs (Exact Match Domains). It's content that ranks these days, not domain names.

I'd rather have a brand such as http://www.boohoo.com than something as limiting as http://www.buycheapdesignerwomensclothesonline.com

Your domain name doesn't even have to be relevant, if it did http://www.amazon.com would sell river trips and http://www.apple.com would sell fruit!

It can even be personal, http://www.craigslist.com :)

LOL, You're amazing :) ... I agree with the domain name thing, as I was always so much irritated of having a whole targeted phrase as a domain name.

I have a few more questions in my pocket, will ask soon. Looking forward to learning more from you. Regards! :)
