Bianca, your writing is great! Explain it as if you’re talking to a friend, it’s the best way to connect with your site visitors. They don’t want to read as if from a text book they want to feel your personality. So if you can explain it verbally put it down in black and white exactly in that way.

I have been working on my website too,and I feel exactly the same way you do.I am having trouble with the menus and widgets too.I lost motivation for a long time because of this and other non-related problems.. Your self-talk is important.Everybody talks to themselves..Remember to say positive things to yourself like.”I know I can do this.I am smart enough to get this. Etc,etc. If you can say things better verbally,try and record yourself and then write it down as you listen or read it.This might work. It’s so hard to stay motivated when you feel “stuck” and want to figure it out for yourself.I don’t like to ask for help because of my subconscious limiting belief that ‘I am stupid and nobody wants to help me because their time is more valuable’ I am working on my many limiting beliefs.The first step is recognition and then ‘re-wiring’ your brain to change it, This is part of my niche.I will be blogging on this soon! We are all works in progress. I have a suggestion. When writing content, say the content outloud and then write what you have said. I am sure you say it well it may just be intimidating to put it down. Your family may think you are nuts as you talk to yourself, but give it a try. If you can say it, then you have the content in you.
