T.G.I.F. A New Perspective!
Oh, thank God it's Friday!
Yes, TGIF! I heard it all the time when I first came to the United States. And because I see TGIF everywhere, I thought it was just the name of a restaurant chain. As a matter of fact, there is one in our neighborhood. Little did I know that TGIF means "Thank God It's Friday!" And whenever people tell me "TGIF" I simply reply with an utterly blank stare because the saying wasn't that familiar to me at all!
As soon as I started my first job here in America, I began to wish that "Friday" would come soon! How I wished that weekend would come by so fast. That means no work, no school (but more time to study), more sleep, and of course, more family time.
And because I began to dread my 8-5 job, it's TGIF, indeed!
A Great Turn Around. June 13, 2013 was a breakthrough! That's when my Wealthy Affiliate journey began and it made the biggest change in my lifestyle.
There were a lot of road bumps that I had to hurdle. But this was the beginning of a new perspective in what I used to call "work." Having overcome so many challenges, Friday is now my most awaited day of the week since life has become a journey!
TGIF! Friday is now the beginning of longer time to add more content to my websites. It gives me more time to reflect on the things that need to be accomplished. It is "catch up" time on whatever I missed during the week.
I bet many of us around here @ Wealthy Affiliate feel the same way.
Keep moving on. It is yet a long, long way in our WA journey. But let us keep moving on with what we have already started until we find our dreams come true!
Keep working and keep writing. And most of all, keep smiling!
It's a great reason to be happy knowing that we are on our way to a successful online business!

Hey Elizebeth I am glad you have arrived at another TGIF. For many years my aim was to get to Friday and sometimes I wouldn't be home till Saturday.
But no matter how long the weekend was always special.
On Friday it seemed like it would last forever.
It was a time of renewal and getting a new perspective.

Oh, Marty! Let me say that whatever your "day off" could be your Friday! As a teacher, I dreaded my Fridays because it used to be the time I bring home papers to check, grades to work on, and lesson plans to prepare. But like you said, getting a new perspective is important. Now I try my best to leave all my school paperworks @ school because I want to come home to relax here @ WA. Whatever your day is, enjoy the precious moments that come! Have another fabulous week in your WA journey and thanks for chiming in.
Some times the work just changes on the wek end but it"s the change of pace that brings new perspective:)
Right. And whatever your day holds, spend time creating memories that you can live by and cherish. It's always beautiful all in all! I guess I am getting older and have become more sentimental.

Saan ka naman na stuck? Ulitin mo lang yung lessons kung saan ka na stuck o di kaya magtanong ka.
Maganda yung pagkagawa mo. Di ko lang makita yung comment box mo. Palitan mo lang yung "Tagline" mo kasi nakalagay pa rin "Just another WordPress Site." Sa dashboard, click mo settings, tapos general. Makikita mo "Tagline" sa baba ng Site Title.
Salamat, yong nga ang hinahanap ko, I wondering why those words are still there. Thanks again. Ano ilalagay ko sa tagline, erase ko lang.
Describe mo lang kung tungkol saan ang website mo. Tapos yung comment box, click mo yung "allow comment" sa bawat page para makapagcomment agad ang visitors mo.

Missed you yesterday for TGIF.
Actually I used to hate Sundays. Now every day seems like Friday and that's a lot of fun. I have picked up a lot since I became part of this. Most of it is that it just keeps getting better and better and that we need to be really focused. So said Mr. Miyagi to Danielsan.......Dick
