I was easily able to create plugin with wordpress inbound now plugin but how can I make that landing page my home page
Hi!
If the page you created appears in the list of pages on your site then you need to go to Settings -> Reading -> and select Static Page, then chose the page you want as your Front page (home page).
this page appears as a landing page it appears that way because of the plugin downloaded it was created with plugin thanks for sharing I appreciate you bro!!!
Ok I got it I was able to create the landing page through pages there is an option to do so through a marketing icon button thanks for the help friend!!!
How did you do this? I am trying but I am lost. Can you tell me how to make the landing page show as the home page? Thanks. Brian

I'm having the same problem. Right now if someone goes to my website they will get the regular home page but I have it setup if you click on the home button on my home page it will go to the landing page.
My website is ewomensbreakthrough.com and the landing page is ewomensbreakthrough.com/go/home.
I want the landing page to come up with the original website ewomensbreakthrough.com.
I'm using the inbound plugin.

so went to the plugins option on wa website dashboard picked add new pluggin then search for landing pages and downloaded inbound now landing pages I was easily able to create a landing page thanks guys for all your help
Yes> I agree with Nathaniell it isn't covered in training. Also consider this. Do you like squeeze pages? I personally do not. They get on my last nerve. Their sole purpose is to entice readers to give up their email address so they can bother you with emails for the rest of your natural life. They are also a sure sign of something scammy. I click away from those as soon as I see them. And I am probably not the only one
Nope, you're not. They are rude and are a surefire way to send people packing! Just my .02.

Are you sure you want to build a squeeze page? It's something that's not covered in the training. My suggestion is to follow the training step by step, especially if you are doing this for the first time.
I know a lot of gurus out there recommend a squeeze page to collect emails, but the training in WA teaches you something different.
The training talks about creating a landing page but does not give detail and yes I absolutely would like to have one attached to my website it is imperative

Ah, I see. You're right! LOL. Sorry, email marketing isn't something I do a lot of, at least not with that style of squeeze pages.
What I would do is to get a plugin to do it. The best ones are going to be paid, but I don't know which ones to recommend. I found this one:

Search "optimize press" in wordpress plugins, or search for "Squeeze page" in plugins and/or themes in your WP back end and there will probably be some stuff.
A landing page is simply a page that people land on. This page could be a page within your website, an article, or a page within someone else's website...any page really.

To become good at email marketing, you ideally want to send people that click on your ad to a targeted landing page on YOUR OWN website. The reason for this is that if you have your own site, you can can create highly targeted landing pages that focus on the exact audience and exact keywords you are promoting to.
The squeeze page is what you send someone in their email not what you want them to land on at your website
that seems kinda backwards the whole point of landing page is to get the email there is no need to send it if you already have the email but hey if it works for you that's awesome there is always room for learning new techniques
Both of you are right: The squeeze page is where you send people on your website to collect email addresses. Otherwise, where do you get the emails?
The landing page (sales page) is where you send people from email to actually sell them something. No one buys directly from email.
Sometimes landing page and squeeze page mean the same thing, sometimes different.
You can certainly build a landing page, if your theme supports a page template that removes distractions.
Many of the premium themes have templates that will do that.
You can set up an email forwarder that will keep track of email coming from your sites, WA sites included.
